First of all, I feel like bo_sox is really going in on me. First he sends me that SK fake role PM, and then he calls me out in the political puppet write up:
"You are [name], a Political Puppet. You are either brand new at online Diplomacy or you have been around for five years and somehow haven't gotten past 100

. "
Low blow, bro.
Now that that is out fo the way, two things:
First of all, we don't have a SK to clear out all of the lurkers, so we need to be a little bit more aggressive in going after lurkers than we have been in the past, rather than identifying a conflict and then picking a side.
Second, I in some sense agree with Minty. We want as many unique accusations as we can get, and want to keep bandwagoning to a minimum. Obviously, I'm not an idiot, and just like in any first past the post system, we eventually will coalesce around 2 competing candidates, but I want to emphasize that we want this to happen naturally, essentially by necessity, near the end of the turn. I of course want people to try to rally people to see their side and agree with their choice to lynch, but I really don't want people to be saying things like "if it's between these two, I guess I'll go with him." Avoid this impulse for as long as possible and either argue for your own favorite lynch or, if you are joining a different person's lynch wagon, actively find new reasons and evidence that that person is mafia
