Well, I don't really know if that's a good way to make a decision about whether or not to vote for someone.

Alex you pose a good point, the more people we vote for the higher the chance of hitting a town power role, but still statistically speaking we're 2x more likely to accuse a mafia. Is getting a power role lynched worth that risk? Debatable, but as the previous game showed, even in a 2 person show down, power roles still get lynched on day 1.

Here is an interesting question, if one of the say five or six people we spread the vote between is a power roll should he claim? It would be bad if we hit more than one power roll with the first vote, and then had them both roll claim. Then, the mafia would know who to target.

Are we really considering keeping the vote spread all day? Guys, that would be terrible. The mafia could easily shift votes onto innocents without giving away any information and there's a much increased likelihood of a tie. Also people just won't do it in practice, even if they agree to it, but that's a good thing.

Like most Day 1 discussions, not a lot to base stuff on. I don't find no-lynch to be particularly scummy, since I supported it in Mafia 1 and 2 (and died for it in Mafia 1) and I remember it was mostly townies that wanted it.

I'm not going to lead the charge for it, though, and I'm not anti-lynch. I think we should be able to find someone that is at least a bit scummy by the end of Day 1. As I've never gotten past like Day 3 (I think it was Night 3 I died in last time I played?) and I've not played since M4, I'll just try to get a feel for this again.

Also Ghug, I completely agree my idea practically guarantee's a town lynch day 1, I don't deny that, but I disagree that you say it doesn't give much info.
