Unless you're expecting us to see it as a joke and thereby clear you. A perfect example of a legitimate WIFOM situation that we can't make a leap either way regarding without outside information. Though in the meantime, all you're doing is confusing the poor people who can't separate a joke from the rest of the game's information.

Anyways, there have been a lot of developments tonight that bear further consideration, some of which I think should stay out of the group's discussion. For example, analysis of obvious jokes is hardly worth anyone's time, because the main purpose of them is levity.

For example -- Player A is making wild ass accusations constantly, beginning from the first hours of Day 1 when there was no information to go on. He subsequently accused anyone who disagreed with him of being suspicious. His action indicate a person who is trying to control all conversation, and direct it specifically away from anything he does not want to discuss, and is intended to cause fear of being lynched in anyway who expresses a contrary opinion.

He claims that his opinions are fact. He claims that all other's opinions are sucpisious.

This sort of behavior is strongly indicative of ANTI-Town behavior...and is therefore considered to be Lizard behavior.


See what I did there. I described specific action. I described it's negative affect on the town and conversation, and I attributed it to something specific.

I'm not against conversation. I'm not against dissenting opinion (or I'd lynch every one of you). I AM against know-it-all LynchClowns who seek to control all conversation and stifle dissent.

Krellin, are you trying to describe me? I wasn't even here for the first hours of day one. I showed up eventually and started making accusations, because things had been happening at that point. I never accused you of anything, only pointing out the ways in which I found your arguments flawed. You're the one accusing me of being suspicious for disagreeing with you. I have never once claimed that my opinions were fact. I have claimed that facts are facts, and I made a case against somebody who I thought was most likely to be scum given the limited information. My actions have been focused on getting people to talk more, not less, and that should be apparent to anyone who's watching. Why you continue to paint this inaccurate picture is beyond me.

As for when you appeared, that is irrelevent. If you fit the mold (in part) because your behavior matches that anti-town behavior I have described during the time that you have been present....then it is time for you to examine your cold-blooded heart and find a way to make nice with the town.

It's coming up on Day 2 -- so it is time to put away all the petty...and I mean **petty**....bullshit and feckless accusations that marred Day 1.

My purpose in Day 1 was fully achieved -- I sparked more conversation so that you ALL could get better reads on people than anyone in this town. THAT is what we are supposed to be doing. I have done more to benefit this town, AND I offered to willing give up my vote to follow a Lurker-Hunting strategy that I alone proposed in an attempt to benefit this town.

I will modify my behavior as required on Day 2, given that we will have 4 dead townies to start the Day, and shit's about to get real.

Regardless, I think putting any more pressure on krellin overnight is a waste of time, since we have no idea if he'll survive the night, or what it would mean if he does. He's made a PR claim, and until further notice, it's something I thought we had agreed to trust. (Maniac aside)

Even if it's a lie, it's not an actionable lie until later, possibly much later. That's the point I wanted to try and get across earlier, though it seems that I didn't do so clearly. ghug, if you're going to accept the claim for now, why are you pressing on krellin so hard? You can't use the excuse that no one else has been talking, or been around, but we still have a large amount of focus on krellin based on information that we can't even really use until we get a guilty flip instead of focusing on spotting other scum.

Where did ILN go? Is he just being overwhelmed by the volume of posts (and possibly going to drop) or is there something nefarious about his absence?

Has anyone gotten anything other than a NULL impression of guak? Why has he been flying under the radar?

Apart from Chaqa's jokes, which can't and shouldn't be interpreted as anything but, what has he offered the humans? I'm not really seeing much, and it's THAT which makes him look suspicious to me rather than his levity. Why have jokes in general been attacked repeatedly, and by whom?

On a glance back, some people have been getting other than NULL impressions of guak, but for a relatively absent person, he's been getting very little scrutiny.

Guak, care to share why you felt that ILN made a good lynch target on day 1? Granted he failed to explain himself well, but I'd rather give the newbies benefit of the doubt initially than give that benefit to players who have shown they are good at playing the humans against each other, and I don't think reading anything into his *human* instinct's line is worth it. It's flavor, not a slip of any sort.

Maniac, Why did you make up some weird narrative about a bodyguard? A slip like yours is better left ignored than expanded upon.

For example,. Chaqa made a joke. Some (ridiculously) saw it as a scum move to open the game, prompting a whole WIFOM discussion, etc.

Some of us said, "It's a joke - we accept his explanation. NEXT..." and moved on.

I would ask that as we move forward, we accept or reject people defenses. If you reject a defense, you must state WHY you reject it, not just wave a hand at someone and say they are this that or the other thing and leave the issue unresolved.

I understand the value of your actions yesterday, but they could have been done without the constant complaints about the pointlessness of even trying to do anything and the whining about poor old krellin who everyone hates so much. Throughout this entire discussion, you've acted like I'm some bully who's attacking you unfairly and trying to get you killed because we disagree. It's verifiable that you're the one who tried to kill me yesterday, not the other way around, and while I may not be particularly nice, I;m pretty sure you're an adult who can handle a little ribbing.
