Probably some time after Figle and Ghost lose theirs. We have quite a backlog of washed-up Admins.

I guess that's why I've never really known who the mods were.

I was a big proponent of the mod badges. Unfortunately, we lost them and I don't really know why.

In regards to revoking Admin status: I actually contacted Figle several times well after he had retired with questions. Also, back when I was the only Admin, it was nice to know that Figle was still around in case something catastrophic happened to the site when I was away.

The admins are responsible for the day-to-day running, mods do most of the dirty work (admins are mods as well).

I feel that I should put in my two cents worth on the mod team. Of the current mods/admins, I think I've only played with FortKnox, and I don't follow all the controversy, so I base my perspective on forum contribution that I see. Based purely on forum contributions, I agree with jmo and Lando that Geofram is not representative of the mod team. I think that almost every day I see some sort of post from Zultar or Thucy, and I regularly see posts from yebellz and FK. On the other hand, I don't recall seeing much from Geofram for a very long time. In fact, I think the posts I've seen from him were mostly from before he was a mod. Maybe he has a lot buried somewhere in the Tournament threads (IIRC, he was taking charge of tournaments) but I don't go to those much.

Actually, that speaks highly of Kestas who refuses to allow forum moderation just because a person is being abusive. Kestas is a proponent of free speech and it shows. I'm sure abge would have had me banned long ago if it weren't for Kestas. :-)

Spamming is either unsolicited bulk advertisements (like in email) or posting over and over again without pertinant info. You are almost every other post in this thread. Just calm down a bit, there with the replies...
