One general question to the professors: In terms of behavioral psychology, how would you want to stand in an alliance? Do you like to be the 'leader', suggesting moves, making decisions, in other words, the dominant one. Or do you like to be the 'follower', taking suggestions, asking your ally permission for your actions, making your ally feel he is in control?
According to certain theories almost all interpersonal relations will be unbalanced in terms of power/dominance. I don't know if this is the case, but in my personal experience, i can often identify leader-follower.
In Diplomacy, I often find that two leading types or two following types cannot effectively cooperate. The first results in conflict, whereas the second results in an alliance that's easily broken apart by other players.
So which side do you like to take?
