gameID=30548), that's a very standard minimal English stalemate position for playing against two non-atlantic powers that won't stab each other. He could even give Hol and Kie, and just keep a fleet sitting in Den. That would be only 8 SCs against AT's 26.
He could even drop back to 4 SCs, but that would risk losing out on the draw (since one of AT might be able to stab for the win at that point).

England can survive quite easily if France, Germany, and Russia (i.e., the powers with access to Atlantic) have been taken out. The AT alliance is quite unconventional. You played it as well as you could. Against players that aren't complete idiots, a 3-way draw is probably the best possible outcome an AT alliance going all the way to the end.
Many stalemate lines have been well documented are widely known. Innovative lines are usually just simple variations.
