Well, in three weeks I might ask a girl out for the first time... So yeah... That's where I'm at right now. Not quite as impressive I'm afraid, but it's a start. :)

I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm waiting a lot too, but I wait for a good moment and have things to say and plans to suggest in my mind for when it occurs. What confuses me is that you seem to really wait those three weeks before making an attempt, rather than just looking for the right time. What's in three weeks that makes you wait for it?

To the dudes getting ready to ask chicks out...Just like snakes and spiders, girls are afraid of you as you are of them, so don’t get so worked up about it. Just ask them out, be nice, charming, polite, and talk loud enough to be actually heard. While I agree with your sentiment, I'm interested in a girl that is definitely not afraid of me and, as long as I can't find an excuse to take my shirt off or something, looks way out of my league to pretty much any observer. I also see her too often to allow things to get awkward if that makes sense. It's not like she goes out of my life if it goes wrong. I'll most likely see her on a very regular basis for at least 2 more years to come.

Last but not least, I'm content already.

I definitely will give it a shot though. Just uncertain wether it's wise to wait until she has taken a couple of shots herself...
