Oh once every couple of months. It is probably an iPhone issue. It is just really fristrting

I know of two errors I get a lot (not server side):

1. I switch the to and from commands for a support.

2. My mousewheel will roll when I have a field selected and change it on accident

It's definitely your own doing. The server works fine.

It sucks. I misorder way too often. Find a way to make it good for you.

Misorders happen to the best of us. The server isn't messing with your orders.

Yeah, I have definitely switched the to and from sometimes (including ordering support for attacks on my units. Amusing!), or I enter one set, do press, change my mind and then forget to change the order. I do that a ton.

But what I think is happening is that the iPhone shows an order but isn't sending it to the server somehow. Of the three instances I can think of, they've all been builds of fleets that show up as armies. I don't think it is the server, but that that particular scroll field doesn't somehow get sent properly

But yeah, those are the breaks. I haven't had anything fatal happen yet.

Make sure you don't forget to specify "via land" or "via convoy" for move orders where that matters. The order seems to not get saved if incomplete.

Check to see that your orders go from red to green.

Reload the page, by clicking the "board" link at the top of the game page. Check that your orders were saved correctly.

Come back to the page later and see if you made any misorders.

Where builds are concerned, select unit type *before* selecting location. Location gets cleared when unit type is selected.

The only thing I can tell you is to enter orders very carefully, especially on your phone. I notice that the interface on iOS 7 makes me more prone to misordering so always double check.

Draug, don't be a Microsoft fanboy. Microsoft fanboys are just sad. Apple fanboys are idiots, and Linux/Android/other interesting open sourcey thing fanboys are usually beyond obnoxious, but Microsoft fanboys just inspire pity.

I've also noticed problems with my iPhone. I started always checking my orders on a computer to be sure over a year ago. I've tried to reproduce it a couple of times with no luck. I feel like either the iPhone is submitted a cached and therefore invalid version of the page or that it just isn't very obvious when an order is invalid or didn't go through due to a bad connection.

The only problem I've had is that iOS Safari will sometimes refresh the page for you to keep it current. This makes it very easy to miss messages if you leave the country tab open. I've not had problems with misorders (other than my own doing).

It's also very easy to hit draw/cancel/ready by mistake. That's also quite annoying. Perhaps we should add a confirmation to those? That might annoy computer players, though.
