When Krellin will be discovered to be a reptile, don't say i didn't warn you...

Just caught up and read, but cant post right now, I gotta go. When I get back I will address the arguments against me at the risk of being even more defensive, but ghug did say that if anyone on his reads was painted as negative he wanted them to explain themselves, so I will go ahead and do that when I get back, probably in about 2 hours. I will also look at the major cases against Maniac and ILN.

I think ILN is just a player going through the ups and downs of the first day of his first game. To clarify, I think he's got a lot to work on. He hasn't posted enough, obviously, and the argument he just made against krellin frankly isn't good. There are plenty of holes, and it looks like he's using his vote as a way of defending himself rather than scumhunting, which is a mistake that he's going to carry for however long this game lasts for him. Still, I don't think he's doing this because he's scum but because it's a little bit overwhelming to take an accusation so quickly from krellin of all people, who, in case you've never met him, tends to be very thorough and persistent. After M3, where I replaced Dr. O and had to try to fix the shitty position he put himself in, I sympathize with ILN because this is exactly what just happened to me weeks ago, and I believe that the moves he's making are not scum tells but him trying to work out what he needs to do. We should be giving him a shot.

@krellin ... the reason I'm not voting for a lurker is because today's vote is for information. We hope to lynch scum, and given the cases made against Squigs, Chaqa, Maniac, and yourself, we're clearly trying to find the most likely scum. However, it's paramount that we begin to gather tendencies and voting patterns today as opposed to simply kicking out a lurker. If you have a reason to believe someone is scum for more than them lurking, then say so, but if you don't, day one isn't the time to take them out.

@Chaqa ... if you don't have any new ideas, just keep up with our discussions and talk with us. Don't make excuses.

@pj ... you said you didn't want krellin to lead the witch hunt against lurkers because you still see him as scummy, so what's your take on him basically donating his vote to you as long as you vote for who he wants? Seems to me like he's really trying to lead and so far you haven't exactly told him off for it.

Though, ILN, if you don't want to be lynched, "don't say I didn't warn you" is not the route to go. Go back through krellin's posts if you think there is a case against him, clarify your own remarks from earlier that didn't make sense, and see what krellin has said that doesn't make sense. Look at uclabb's post earlier that described krellin's contradictory behavior, and then see if you can explain krellin's emotional "outburst" last night. If you can find reason to believe that it wasn't an honest display of emotion, you'll be in better shape.

Bo - today's vote will give you no information, especially compared to future days votes - meaning now is the best time ever to "waste" your vote on a lurker.

Also - ILN is a big, smart boy. You have no idea if he has ever played before or not. Ignorance (or overwhelmed-ness) is no excuse before the law... :P

Bo - also, I am not "trying to lead" per se...i.e. I don't want to choose who dies, especialyl not today -- but I do want to push for a process and/or common ideology for a Day 1 vote. I think having a common objective is best for the town.

Chaqa - we all know you're just sitting on the sidelines so you can switch late and save one of you're reptilian buddies. Who do you think you're fooling?

You know...it is rather uncharacteristic of Chaqa to be so quiet. But, it could also be because he has a town power role and doesn't want to expose himself. It's odd tho think he would be so dramatically different....

Krellin, if you "don't want to choose who dies" today, then why are you promising other people your vote provided that they agree to vote the way you want? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that would classify as contradiction #4. (Don't correct me, actually, because I'm right.)

Somehow, I still think you're town because you just absolutely went off last night and my gut tells me it was genuine, but it's running really, really thin.

The real reason I'm being quiet is that I'm working now, and only post once in awhile. I did my reads on lunch.

PJ - he's trying to lead someone else into starting a bandwagon against a lurker by offering up his vote as support. On the last page:

"THEREFORE - I will vote with PJMansfield as long as he votes for a lurker."

He made me the same offer but I turned him down for obvious reasons. It's a terrible play.

@krellin - I'm getting more concerned about chaqa. Isolate out his posts - he says nothing but, vote for me, I'm scum, and offers excuses for not posting - I'm at work, I don't want to alert people yet, I have no strong opinions. Then he calls me out for not saying anything. I'd switch to him if others feel that he isn't helping the govt enough and / or a reptilian.

Maniac, I have nothing else to say. I posted my reads, I commented on WIFOM, and I've made a stance on Day 1 lynch. I don't need 20 posts per page.

Alright, just woke up and read through everything. Krellin still strikes me as a terrible town player. His argument about lynching lurkers is filled with inaccuracies, but at least he's actually trying now. Chaqa strikes me as especially scummy now, but he always seems scummy, so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt today.

I still don't see ILN's actions as alignment indicative as much as inexperience indicative, but his play has been very weak, so if it somehow comes down to him and someone I think is town, I'd be willing to vote for him.

I still think Ssssssquigssss is our most likely scum right now. I'll be going back through his posts in more detail before the deadline.

Bo-sox - it is NOT terrible paly. You all have suspicions of me, and think I am a mafia. How better than to not Be considered a threat than to propose a common voting strategy (i.e. lurker hunt) and then give up the authority of my vote to someone else as long as they go after a lurker, which is my preferred strategy.

If you can't see the logic in that, I can't help you.

Also - Bo You will also note I have gone from no lynch to voting. Yes, a change. Yes, my introduction into this game was to come in and stir up the shit and get a conversation going, and get accusations flowing, and get info on the table for people to work with, even if it meant bringing suspicion on myself in so doing. But as I have proposed a solid strategy, and now seek to remove myself from leadership on WHO to vote for, this should act to counter the suspicion, and I hope you can understand my actions had a purpose, even if you don't agree with them.

Targeting lurkers is bad though. They give limited info if they flip guilty and they're likely to be killed by mod, vig, or town-friendly SK.

Ghug, no, my analysis contains opinions that differ from yours. I find most day 1 behavior ridiculous and abhorrent in so many ways – so that fact that you disagree with my behavior…bah…whatever. That beign said, you reject my lurker hunting idea without giving a reason WHY it is bad…you just don’t like it.
