You know, in thinking about it for five minutes, I cannot come up with an example of somethings which are uniquely different /and/ completely equal. Two steak knives, same brand, same company, same production run, I wouldn't call those uniquely different. An MLT, a mutton, lettuce, and tomato sandwich, where the mutton is nice and lean and the tomato is ripe, they're so perky, I love that, is clearly superior to other sandwiches, except, of course, another MLT, which is again not "uniquely different." Even a PB and apple J sandwich is clearly inferior to a PB and strawberry J sandwich. Are there any things which are uniquely different and completely equal? Perhaps this entire discussion is crouched behind convenient definitions and therefore why it is not productive?
