@Riphen, you can check for yourself as follows. Click on Games at the top. Click on the Search submenu. Unclick all the phase lengths except "<1 hours". Set Order by: to "Pot size (Largest->smallest)". And then click on the search button. The live game with the largest pot size will be at the top. (The first game rakakoma linked.)

@achillies. Just depends on what everyone wants. For that many points I say Gunboat as Full press could be too Stressful.

301 is probably going to be the bet. If I dont win or draw I dont want to be left with 0 . I want a chance to get my points back.

Why not just bet it all then? You'd get more points back if you lost.

I had a big gunboat game going on a week back and if I did something like this I would not have gained any back. I still had that mentality.

If someone loses all of their points then they get restarted at 100.

Nooo way! They are inflating my points! Sounds exatly like the federal reserve's policy :) if we are out of money, let's create new ones out of thin air :) and devalue everyne's wealth.

This policy leads exactly whee we are now, unexperienced player do not respect points, high pot games, even the game itself. When there are no consequences of losing them, what gives them any value at all???

You get started at 100 minus your points in play.. If I had over 100 in play I wouldnt get points.. But since I only have 10 I should only get 90.

And lest we forget this is a online board game. Inflating of points is far different then money.

My problem is, I remember when I was down to 37 , and I had to play a couple of 5 bet games to climb back, and I had to have a lot of time, effort and stamina put into my games because I feared of falling off the site.

If there's no threat of consequences everybody is just throwing points away, ruining others' games in many cases, just because they don't care. 700 pot live games used to have some reputation, but with this, anyone can join them without being unable to join the next one.

Well, the solution I guess is to raise pot size (as prices rise during inflation) to avoid those players who don't work for to have some kind of reputation.
