Anyway, mostly fun tourney, except for the game where I was russia and was anally violated by the end of autumn 01. Thanks for putting it together, Gobble.

That was a fun series to play. I think I should have won my game as Russia, but didn't play as well as I could have with a few moves.

Also nicely done to CS. Game 5 I was Germany and successfully managed to throw the game for Turkey (who turned out to be CS). Gobb was England and clearly decided he'd rather eliminate me at the cost of a Turkish victory, so I did everything in my power to see that Turkish victory happen.

Overall there was a lot of horrendous defense played against the solo threats, which was kind of disappointing. That said, I still had a lot of fun playing.

@Poozer in game 5 we would have made the three-way had France not nmr'ed a couple times and lost the whole of Italy. And by the time he lost Italy, keeping you around wouldn't have helped any.

I have to admit I didn't really defend well against the solos though.

Good games everybody -- sorry for the slow reply, but I've been traveling and somewhat sick most of the last week. As it turns out, a France NMR in Game 5 was probably the only thing that made the tactics complicated -- I had a pretty secure win and forgot the possibility that France might get multiple retreats.
