I think this is a why a semi-anon built-in option would be great. Then we can check out people's games together to make sure that there aren't meta/multi gamers. And then report them to the mods.
I am not in the game, abge, and I'm not posting cheating accusations, so don't dock me. I just know the frustration of playing anon gunboat games with *fishy* events happening.

@Divonich, but didn't you just continue to post cheating accusations on the forum? When there is cheating going on, the proper thing to do is just to report it to the mods, via email only, and let them handle it. Starting a witch hunt on the forum does not help the situation, and only possibly escalates it to something ugly.

Also, you have to have some patience. The mods are just a bunch of volunteers. They aren't your personal servants. With live games, it's tough to act quickly enough to prevent a game from getting ruined, but after the fact, things will get thoroughly investigated and the proper people will get punished. Throwing a tantrum on the forum does not speed anything up, its just a distracting pain in ass for the mods.

The only thing I really see as questionable is involving the areas surrounding Edinburgh in '05, but it could just be good symbiosis.

To belgium I thought was a means of showing willingness to forge an alliance since they could have easily bounced it, notice how France still kept an army in Gascony. To be fair it wasn't an "honest" game since it looks like England CDd early on and it should have been drawn/canceled then.
Of all the weirdness I'd say that the bounce in Belgium of Autumn '02 is the most suspicious of anything. And again that could be weird a weird anticipatory bounce with England before they realized he'd CDd

Looks like a couple of cheating assholes from here.

I went back and looked at a few of their games, and i got to say this coordination between them is pretty common for gun boat games.. Hopefuly the mods will look at it, which i am sure they will.

The mods have already docked people points for continuing to make accusations in this thread. abge clearly is aware of what's going on, and I'm guessing he's more then capable of figuring out if they were cheating on his own.

@everyone who is outraged over abge's point-docking: posting cheating accusations in the forum is explicitly forbidden by the site rules. In that respect, it is no worse than the cheating itself.

If Germany and France are guilty of metagaming/multi-accounting, abge (or some other mod) will punish them too. With more than just docking points.

Don't worry guys. This will get handled.
