Question about site rules:

is it multi-accounting if you time-travel backwards and your future-self has one account at the same time that your past-self has another? It's not mentioned in FAQ or anything...

Honestly if could just be way more beneficial to travel back 24 hours, alter your moves, and pwn someone after seeing their moves. I think that should be the focus of mods to rid instead of worrying about multi-accounting :D

@baum, assuming that your future self and present self represent two distinct bodies and minds, then no, it is not multi accounting. It would make it easier on us mods if you also didn't use the same computers as we would be justifiably be skeptical of such an excuse. This is a variation on the question if going back in time and having sex with yourself constitutes masturbation or not. To answer that question, no it's not masturbation, but it is homosexual.

This looks like a confession to me. Not sure about what. Forgetting, misuse of illegal substances, growth hormones, cheating...

Something needs to be done :)

P.S. All fun threads start when someone asks a basic question, in an innovative manner. Or forgets to explain the details in a reasonable time after posting the title.

I would investigate future history. You know, intellectual curiosity, although I do hope that the time machine is not very big, or it would be hard to lug around to various places before doing the time jump...
And I hope it doesn't need 1.21 gigawatts of power... That would be hard to do...

Just to go off the OP, if I can time travel, I can have multiple accounts (1 per instance of me) and not count as multi-ing?

If that's the case, then I'd like to say that as you're reading this you're time travelling.... ;)

And just another question....can I have one account for each of the voices in my head?

In The Spirit Of Site-Wide Peace And Love- CELEBRITY DEATHMATCH!

A crude but fun little show here in the States from the late 90s into the new millenium, claymation versions of celebrities present (Tommy Lee vs. Pamela Anderson, Bill Clinto vs. Saddam Hussein) and past (Joe Peshi vs. Napoleon in a "Short Man" fight, and, my personal favorite, "A Hard Day's Fight" featuring The Beatles in a battle royale!) would duke it out.

You'd think having Richard Pryor and George Carlin in the same clip on a topic would be hilarious... instead, it raises an interesting question: are some words just not to be used in comedy and just too uncomfortable (Pryor) or is it "context!" that matters (George Carlin of Seven Dirty Words fame... those words are... nah, find the clip yourself!) ;) Interesting one great comedian + one great comedian= linguistic/social debate...

Firefly: What Should I Expect?
