And for the record- I side with Carlin.
As a Jew, I have to say, I've told my share of Jew Jokes and "Kike" jokes, Polish jokes (part Pole) and there's no problem...
Now, when I was in a class once and some Muslim kid joked what the difference between a pizza and a Jew was during the Holocaust (screams in the oven... grrrr...) THAT pisses me off, this guy and I had a whole year of his hating Jews, he REALLY just hated them, so that pissed me off.
But hey- "Three babies, a Jew, Pole, and German look identical adn the parents can't tell the difference who's who, the dad goes in and says 'I'll handle this' steps in front of the three, says, 'SIEG HEIL!' and the German snaps to attention and salutes, the Jew shits his pants, and the Pole plays in the shit" is fine with me... being all three, that's a fine context, and a fine joke (at least when delivered well... maybe over the Internet it loses its flavor? You tell me...) ;)
P.S. RIP Pryor and ESPECIALLY Carlin... I'll always remember Seven Dirty Words... if you've never seen that routine, YouTube it, genius... just don't watch it with the kiddies!
;)
