Remove the no orders/saved/ready icons
There are 10 minutes to go and still !! is shown next to a country. It's probably going to NMR. This allows countries around it to make moves that they normally wouldn't confident that the sensible supports and moves to SCs won't take place. Which unbalances the game.

If the icons were removed then it is less obvious that an NMR is about to happen. Is there a reason for the icons that I'm missing?

CD vs NMR
I'm looking at my CD's and NMR's, and I noticed that in one game that I had a Civil Disorder, it gave me 12 NMR's, another CD 3 NMR's, and then the rest of my CD's I have 0 NMR's. Can anyone explain how this works and why there's such a huge discrepancy on this? And is this also a "double jeopardy" against my Reliability Rating to count NMR's and CD's from the same game? This part has always confused me. Thanks!

New Zealand has a new Prime Minister
Labour did a full coalition deal with our weird centrist version of UKIP, so that'll be interesting. Greens to make up the numbers with confidence and supply in exchange for policy concessions and ministers outside of cabinet. I for one am cautiously optimistic about the coalition of chaos.

Refugees.. Does Uganda treat refugees better than many wealthy Nations ?
More refugees from South Sudan entered Uganda in the last 12 months than entered Europe. Uganda allows them to enter, to work, gives many a small plot of land to farm. To appease locals in regional areas where refugees settle the Government allocates 30% of aid to local communities. My own Nation, Australia, a relatively wealthy nation treats some refugees well, but others with harsh treatment, incarceration in detention camps.

How depressing. I had hoped Paradise Papers was a type of wallpaper & if I wallpapered a few rooms with the stuff they would be transformed into an oasis of Paradise like serenity, peace & a sanctuary from the delightful company of The Fire Breathing MemSahib.

Yes, Her lazing on a sofa devouring cakes. The Fire Breathing MemSahib can even lovingly threaten a chap at twenty paces just with the ferocious clicking of her knitting needles.... And the dulcet sweet screech that good woman can emit has emasculated grown men and reduced them to the most pitiable wretches. How lucky was I that day when I, of my own free will, pledged myself, body & somewhat innocent soul to her for the rest of my natural life and all eternity ?

Actually The Fire Breathing MemSahib is being well behaved and unusually considerate towards me at present. I've been off working, absent from home & hearth over the last few days & only got back yesterday. Then because my body clock was so out of sync with day & night I stayed up last night, drinking whisky, fooling about on WebDiplomacy etc..tried to be nice to bloody Kansas Boyd but that descended quickly into a dispute that only got more vitriolic....gave up on the clown ( seriously, the most bloody minded, self centred, pedantic, nitwit, uber sensitive, dullard grocer's delivery clerk would appear enlightened when stood beside Kansas Boyd, imho )... and only grabbed a few hours kip from 6 30 approx am to about 11 30 am. At about 6 am I was soooo tired beyond tired I thought "maybe this is what it feels like a little bit to be Brainbomb". I'm sort of functioning again now, but I am going to crash into a fourteen hour + sleep ( with luck ) soon. I need to, with what's penned into my diary / appointments book.

Well The Fire Breathing MemSahib has had the run of the matrimonial residence while I was away without me about to offer helpful contradictory advice, or ask impertinent questions & has undoubtedly given the contents of the Sherry decanters a hammering. In our few interchanges of loving expressions since my return I've been so fagged out, that I have simply agreed with whatever outlandish propositions she has emitted without demur or protest, and I went out at her command with the shopping list she imperiously gave me about noonish & returned with all requested goods. Then the charming woman agreed to my humble request for an early dinner & at present she is gleefully crucifying a chicken, one of, to be served later, purporting as to be roasted. Accompanied by a witch's brew of vegetables. So with gas fires burning and cauldrons bubbling my delightful spouse is at present ensconsed in her kitchen. Fresh strawberries for desert, purchased by my good self today, so it's quite possible they will be served relatively undamaged. So my current domestic ambitions stretch only as far as survival of repast and then blissful, oblivious sleep. Safe in the knowledge any prowlers by night face a murderous volley of home filled cartridges loaded with rock salt crystals discharged by fiendish matriarch wielding Purdey and armed with castrating knife for any close quarters combat.

Additionally I have deduced from scattered evidence and not so subtle shifts in furniture that The Fire Breathing MemSahib has been entertaining her notorious accomplices "Bloodthirsty Betty" & "Glib~tongued Gladys" in my absence. This vulturous pair delight in exacting discussions with TFBM~S of a multitude of medical complaints their treatments and associated surgical procedures. Ailments of their unfortunate friends & acquaintances are the mainstay of such conversations, but special delight is attached to their own sufferings.
No College of Surgeons, specialised or ordinary can usurp their prognostications or contradict their conclusions.
Glib~tongued Gladys possesses a verbal evasiveness so skilled that even when challenged regarding her most outrageous exaggeration, most disingenuous misrepresentation or brazenly untruthful statement, she will boldly, without any sign of shame employ such artifice of language in her dissembling dismissal of said challenge that even the most eminent Silks at the Bar would exchange their first born child to be so gifted in oratorical artistry.

As for Bloodthirsty Betty, on matters of Social Justice, Crime & Punishment the woman makes the notorious Judge Jeffries of the British Courts of the times of long gone Highwaymen look like the most soft hearted, gullible & forgiving Pollyanna like well meaning country Parson.

I detect the georgious tinkling tones of TFBM~S's sweet vocal thunder instructing me to appear shipshape, Bristol fashion as if for a Spitshead review, before her magnificent malevolence at the Dining table. Au revoir.

Ho ho ho. After dinner I watched the Australian Broadcasting Commission's TV program "Four Corners" ..a one hour program based on these Paradise Papers. As a member of the ICIJ the Four Corners program has been given "their copies" of the millions of documents involved.
As well as various international companies such as Glencore, Nike who got a mention, the "interesting" lawyer a Mr Diamond who controls deceased Rock star Michael Hutchence's estate got discussed at some length.
Another chap who got a mention was Mr Wilbur Ross, President Trump's appointment as Secretary of Commerce. Looks like Trump thinks the interests of the USA are "best served" by putting "a Fox in charge of the hen house". Plus it looks like this Wilbur Ross may have business links to Putin, as well as with Trump. How convenient...LoL.
Just remember, the more big corporations and the super wealthy can avoid taxes, the more the costs (taxes) for running civil societies, defending them etc falls on the rest of us.

NMRs and Civil Disorder
I'm new here can someone please explain how the NMR and CD rules work here. How many times can a power NMR before they go into CD. What happens to the game if one of the powers goes CD? Is it canceled, paused? What happens to your bet? Do you just get it back?
