It was a fun game to watch. Despite appearances at times, it seems that you and Goldfinger do "love each other long time" ( ho ho ) uclabb did very well with Turkey, but Turkey suffers when it gets bigger from the tyranny of distance, it's home sc's where it raises new units are so far from the centre, there's often a two, three year delay before new units can be used to lunch into Germany for example. Whereas France has an advantage in generally being able to deploy units more quickly to the "scene of the crime".
ATC's first few years with Austria were surprisingly adventurous, but he paid a heavy price when uclabb moved on him. Still you cannot blame uclabb, opportunity like that doesn't come around often for the poor blighter with Turkey. Uclabb was lucky in that there was never an effective alliance pair out of Russia, Austria and Italy who formed and went after him in a determined way.
I'd like to express sympathy for Tom Bombarding with Germany, but I'd be lying through clenched teeth. Watching his demise helped exorcise some personal demons of mine that he gave me in a game when be had Germany and I had Russia. Losing Munich to Austria at the get go was a most unusual occurrence for anyone with Germany. Hope it gives him psychological scars for ages..LoL ( just kidding.. or am I ?).
Thanks to all players for the entertainment.
The latest game I am spectating is the 31,500 point gunboat game. I've signed up for Demon Overload's gunboat competition, and I virtually never play grubby gunboat games. So I'm studying up on it. Can't be that difficult, surely. LoL.
