It's OK, Kansas is just putting a shot across my bows. I've actually had a few more important things to do in the last few days than give him the reply I promised him. First, the relevant thread has slipped towards the oblivion it deserves. But I did look through it a few days back and technically I have to agree that he did not make a particular assertion, it was made by one of his fellow travellers. When I criticised the assertion Kansas criticised my criticism of the assertion, so although he didn't make the assertion, he defended it's basic premise.
So I apologise for not responding earlier, I'm still quite tired after travelling and doing real Security work in the real world, then travelling home. There are restrictions on my commenting in "Internet social media" prior to, and during the actual work about what I was doing. It's hardly "high end" stuff, nor trivial. I was simply asked to help provide extra security (as part of a team ) backstage at a pop/rock concert. Help make sure visiting international artists and the crew staging the event were adequately protected. They were & I will be well remunerated for my efforts.
So I will oblige Kansas Boyd and give him that which he desires, an admission in the forum that he is correct in claiming that he did not make a particular assertion about media bias.
Hopefully that satisfies his delicate ego.
Ridiculous conspiracy theories:
Kansas Boyd is the WebDiplomacy account of Secret Russian agents as part of a conspiracy to infiltrate conservative political groups in the USA.
And I'm a front for secret North Korean infiltration of WebDiplomacy. But I will defect to the west if I'm given a decent dinner & Kylie Minogue for desert. LoL.
( Oh Kylie is touring Australia at present, but it was not her concert at which I worked. If "her people" asked nicely, I might well be happy to help protect her. )
