O_O. I just found out by looking through old playdip threads that, when the mods have to ban an IP from accessing their site for breaking the rules, they point them out to webdiplomacy :P

How many users have you lost them abge?
Do you set yourself a target?
Why do you want to get rid of Users, what's the point? Should your focus be a bit more positive i.e. how many people you've kept on the site or don't you think that way?
Shouldn't your actions be designed to try and retain users?
I suppose if you don't know the people you don't really care if they play or not.......
We have a company in the UK called Sky who provide satellite broadcasting who provide live sports coverage and for years their customer service was diabolical because they had no real competition, the company and the staff become arrogant. Now we have genuine competition with a company called Virgin and at the first opportunity I switched, not because they offered a better service or were cheaper but I didn't have to put up with the self-satisfied smugness that comes from people who understand power but not responsibility.
Like traffic wardens and officious security guards their defense always seems to be 'they were only doing their job' and 'rules are rules'.
Therefore how heart-warming it is to hear that the Moderators gave the cheater Sandgoose chance after chance but then I suppose if you like someone you can make up the rules as you go along or bend them a little because despite the fact he cheats you think he's alright......call me old-fashioned but maybe there could be a subtle shift to actually rewarding encouraging and supporting players that would never cheat, or is that just me being naive :-)
