I was thinking about accusing someone of cheating, via the proper channels, then I realized they were just a terrible player.

We want people to read the FAQ to get most of their questions answered before we get assaulted with email.

Cheating in diplomacy is idiotic. It wastes everyone's time because always win if you cheat and there is no excitement of diplomacy.

Unfortunately I have 4 of the same people in 2 of my games - there are only so many games and people want to play in 5 or 6 and have them all start that day will end up with at least 1 other same person.

Draugnar, it is an extreme example of reverse psychology. Play like shit, then accuse yourself of cheating so the other players... wait that doesn't work at all.

@brain - I don't think he was accusing them of anything, merely pointing out that if you play a certain style of game at a certain time of day, you wind up with at least a few repeat opponents in your games. It was just an observation, poorly worded, on dhoff's part.

I've got a different question...what if I don't want to accuse someone of cheating, but want someone to accuse ME of cheating....any way of going about this?

Obvious cheating is too obvious. I looking to be accused of cheating in a manner which will cause a cloud of scandal and drag down any number of people with me.

But Alderian has an idea. Actually, I am prone to *always* support Austria and try to make them, at least, survive. IN a way, that could be considered meta-gaming, because I feel sympathy for the poor fool playing that destitute position. It's almost as bad as being a 12 year old in a Penn State locker room...
