I'd like to get a new classic/full press/WTA game going. Game turns would be 36 hours and I'd want the bet size to be somewhere around 30-110, but am flexible. Anyone interested?
Whose Line Is It Anyway? Public press Diplomacy game
So I recently just had inspiration for a public press Diplomacy game based on the amazing show Whose Line Is It Anyway? and thought it would be worth trying.
everyone knows it's all about the live winner-take-all gunboat games on the standard map. how do ghost ratings work? is there some way of pulling stats out of the database for this analysis? i want LWTAGBCV ratings!
At most, how many subsets can you find of the set A = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13} such that any two intersect in exactly one element? What about |A| = 10? Show a proof along with the answer.
Gunboat is more true to board Diplomacy than press
In the Diplomacy rulebook, it is explicitly stated that no diplomacy or discussion may take place during what we call "retreats" and "builds" phases. Let's see what it means for legitimacy of press games.

Okay fine. Don't play in passworded games I don't care. I never said it was an absolute guarantee to prevent cheaters, it just increases the safety of your game a bit. Now, if you don't mind, I have my cheater-free password protected game to attend to. Ta-tah!
I'm in a game at the moment where I'm Pac-Rus; I had an alliance with India, then he got banned and a new person came, then, several turns later, the new India was banned along with Antartica. It's incredibly annoying having to remake diplomatic ties with the same country again and again because of cheaters.
@cptmeme, then you should actually join redhouse in his games (since I really don't mind refreshing ties to countries, or destroying current for that matter)

Passwords are meant to prevent just anyone from joining a game. You can only join that game if you have that password - that is, if you are invited to join by the creator

"" imagine real life scenario,you are the ruler of this power of yours,but damn every two or three years there is a revolution,civil disorder,change of rulers(democratic or not). not easy to rule an empire these days.
