Quite the simple question: Is there a way to receive an email notification when a phase adjudicates? I can't find this mentioned in the FAQ and I have yet to figure out how to search the forums (if that is possible)

Requesting pause in game

This game has 2 hours or so before next phase, and Russia hasn't input orders. However, Russia has input a pause vote, though there has been no discussion (unless I missed something) about a pause on the global chat. I think Russia has indicated from his pause though that he won't get back in time.. anyway, a pause would be appreciated until Russia returns.

Is it possible to have someone in charge take a look at this game. It seems that perhaps Egypt and Rome are on the same team. They like disadvantaged games. I guess if they are not multi accounts then just bad sportsmanship for continuing a game that is at a complete disadvantage to those others..

Live Practice Game for Boston FTF May 21
If you are coming to the Boston FTF, please join us for a live game Sat May 21 10 AM-4 PM EST. So far we have Crazyter, MadMarx, and Thucy. Possibly also abgemacht and Babak.

Game will be 5 D classic. Should it be anon or not? Should it be 5 minute or 10 minute turns? I prefer 5 minute, because the FTF pace is SO fast-you generally have 12 to15 minutes to read the orders, move the pieces, go off and diplome, which includes waiting for the person (s) you want to diplome with to finish talking with someone else, and then rushing back to write down your orders before the time is up.

We have 5 people, need 2 more. May 21 10 AM EST. SO yes it will happen and hopefully with 7 FTFers, but if there are only 5 FTFers then we'll accept 2 others who are online at that time

Yeah, it would be nice if everyone in this game were signed up for Boston F2F. I'm not interested if we just grab a random person or two the morning of, so hopefully Lando will be Alternate #1 if we can't get seven Boston F2F people, thanks Lando!

Looks like we'll need at least one more Alternate, but two more wouldn't hurt just in case, anyone interested?

Babak, will you require the game to be anon, or are you open to playing me non-anon on webdip in this specific instance? I'm fine with whatever the majority prefer, but even if it is anon we will learn a bit about our opponents prior to meeting up in Boston, so I don't think it must be non-anon.

I should be availalbe on the 28th or 29th but probably earlier in the day so it can finish earlier. but monday (mem day) I most likely can not.

next week however, during the week, i should be pretty open if we decide to do it during the day or afternoon. we could also attempt to set up two or three 2/3 hr sessions instead of just one 6 hr session.

You guys, it just occurred to me that there might be some people here that are going to get caught up in the rapture tomorrow and that is going to create some serious upsets in ongoing games. Is there any kind of contingency plan for this? Mods?

I'm hooked...
Firends have been telling me about this show "The Mentalist" and I've caught bits and pieces and knew some of the backstory from my friends, but I just watched the two-hour season finale. I am absolutely hooked. I guess I know what I'll be catching up on this summer.

Hey everybody, I think you should all check out www.vdiplomacy.com - it has a huge number of maps and variations that are extremely fun to play - as well as the standard classic europe map.

There is no comparison between it and this site! I can't believe more people haven't registered, check it out now!
