Ah nostalgia. Those were the days. I haven't been active on the forum lately, and there are so many new faces that I feel relatively unknown now. Still, the content is pretty much the same, some game advertisements, a few on topic strategy threads, a survey thread, a few serious discussions, and then some random other threads. However, I'm not a fan of the LPTPW or the word association threads constantly occupying two slots of the front page.

im new to this sight, and i find it very interesting to read through old forum posts and see all the drama that happens. i happened to stumble upon this board here and read the thread that you posted, and all i can say is wow. some of you people are crazy.

like really crazy, random conversations and everything, people talking about religion and politics, and arguing over beliefs, its insane. do people still do that on this site?

Yeah there's a fair bit of political discussion that goes on from time to time. There was a long one just earlier this month about the so called "Ground Zero mosque" and in August there were like 3 concurrent arguments, all about homosexuality and prop 8. I'm not sure why we needed 3 of them, but there you are. It can be fun to debate stuff like that, and an forum like this is as good a place as any to do it.

haha yea, i especially found it funny earlier in this thread and in the other thread where someone spoke of an anarchist political party. i found this funny because if there was an anarchist political party, that means a group of anarchists banded together to take over the government, which would in turn make them no longer anarchists, for an anarchist is a person who promotes disorder or revolt against any established rule, law, or custom. therefore an "anarchist" political party or government is really just a group of people who dont like the government and seek to change it. a true anarchist would never become part of a political party, or any government organization. so i found that quite enteresting.

If Sic sees this he is just goign to correct your view of anarchy as the anrchist movement believes in ultra small government without elected officials, more tribe like. But that doesn't preclude them attemtping to change and destabilize the government by getting in power first.

So I'm curious, since I hacen't been on in a while, was there a big discussion about the "Arizona law" when that was the big controversy a few months ago? That would have been a fun one to chime in about.
