It could work and it would then break the deadlock... I would say go for it. Although you dont need to move a german fleet into the MAO. The fleet in Gascony is not actually needed.

asking the opinion of the forum as to a draw position is one thing, but asking advice about an ongoing game, I think is frowned upon.

Having said that, to analyze a draw position, just look at every front from both sides to see if there are any posibilities. Obviously if someone screws up a support or something, you can get through, but assuming one player is playing as offensively as he can and the other is playing as defensively as he can and no one can break through, then it's a draw.

i think gascony is needed otherwise italy could break through to the MAO, and that could make things messy

And really, if I was in that game with you and you were asking for tactical advice from the forum, I think I would be a little annoyed.

It's drawn if it continues as it is, but there is a possible move for Germany that involves some risk of the line breaking, but could let them win. It's Germany's choice and he has probably noticed it.

Basically, if Germany wants a draw, the game will be drawn.

Convoy to Livonia? Nah. Waste of units, and isn't the fleet needed to support Berlin anyway?

Google diplomacy stalemate lines. You should be able to find visual displays of stalemate lines, then compare your game to them.
