Problem with pluraserver ad loading

Strategy

Okay say you are turkey. You've tried to gain an alliance with russia but get no response. Austria snubs you as well. Obviously you're screwed because they're coming after you. What can you do, or is it just a lost cause?

I'm hoping to start one (or two!!) up early next week, after my surgery. I like 48 hour turns, but could go 24 or 36 if need be. I also prefer PPSC. Maybe I'll start a few, how about the largest game this site has seen, maybe 5000 point pot (715 points buy in)? I'm thinking of starting a few, so let me know if you have any interest in a total pot of:

5,000+ (715)
4,000+ (572)
3,000+ (429)
2,000+ (286)

I'd start all four games if there is enough interest... Please let me know here and hopefully we can get at least one or two games going this Monday!!

One of the interesting things with these great pot games is that it really distorts the concept of using the point system to display skill sets.

I'm just looking for some good competition... Even in my league one guy CD'd and quit and I think the majority of players have missed orders multiple times and I think I'm the only one of the original 7 to not have missed any orders... I know things come up in life, believe you me, but it really takes away from the games when people miss orders, gives people an unfair advantage... Anyway, the more points on the line the more involved people tend to be, at least that's my theory...

Well, it's looking like you'll have plenty of time to wrap up that game, not too much interest so far... Oh, my surgery is Monday afternoon, so I won't start any games until Tuesday at the earliest...

Why are all CivilDisorderAustria 's replaced by the name CivilDisorderGermany? Is there some logic behind or is it just a bug.

And therefore another question: Why is there no link on the helpsite to report bugs of this kind?

Neutrals Variant

I was looking at the map, and noticed that the Scandinavian countries add up to what would be a full playable country. The Balkans would be equal to Russia. What would a game look like if these new countries were added, maybe even with a Belgium-Holland and Spain-Portugal-perhaps Tunis thrown in as well?
