Not at all, CF. Just make certain others are aware you know each other from somewhere other than WebDip. If not in game, make it common knowledge like Crazyter and I did. Of course, we always stabbed each other and had crazy fun times when we played, but everyone knew I introduced here to phpDip from the judges.

@YJ - and he can. But he is looking for empathy and I am offering it with conditions. He eiuther follows said conditions or gets no empathy. It's called a negotiated trade.

I wasn't asking really for my situation, cause I know it's ok but more in general. Someone did bring up the point in this or another thread that I'd (hopefully) know how'd he'd think better. Does that kind of situation give a person an unfair advantage even with knowing that going into a game. Exceptions would be gunboat/anon games. Can't use that kinda knowledge if you don't know who they are.

That is for him to answer to whatever God he does or doesn't believe in and for his conscience to convict him over time if he is not sincere. Just saying the words will, in time, make them sink in and become sincere. The number of insincere apologies I have made in my time that eventually became sincere because it worked on my sense of right and wrong... Hopefully it does the same and, in the meantime, I will forgive him.

Ha, I don't think sub has any intentions of playing. I think your last post explaining the differences between f2f and online made the most sense out of anything I have read. I still believe that our intentions weren't nefarious. We didn't think we were breaking the rules. Or at least we convinced ourselves that we weren't. I do however, realize that due to the points you made,I know what we did affected the outcome of games. And seriously until I read that I think I still believed that it hadn't. But, I can definitely see the point.

And, I have been wanting to play a game with you for a while. But, I am in one and will be starting one tomorrow with abge. I will get back to you at the end of the semester when I can devote more time to the site.

Play a 72 hour game so you don't have to put so much effort into it then.

I am down. Just give me a week or two. Once I have set up a meeting with my committee and have gotten all that stuff together I will play. I know 72 hours isn't much but I find I spend more time on the site as a whole the more games I have going. Even if they are extended phases. So, it could potentially get in the way of my school work.

You made completely valid points. Things I had definitely not thought of.

For what it is worth, of the last 10 games I finished without Sub. I have 4 wins and 3 draws a defeat and a survive. The defeat was in a Gunboat that I joined half way through. And Well I suck at gunboat. And the survive was a game I joined after a couple years as well. My success is not exclusive to the games I played with my brother. But those games definitely taught me valuable lessons to use in other games.

Reading this thread with krellin muted is an interesting variant reading. I never know when someone is going to throw a comment his direction, like a parent telling a child that the adults are talking.

Krellin is no longer better off muted. He's only here for our entertainment for the time being. The cruel realities of the self regulating forum cut his balls off and now he's an indoor kitty.
