Hey, I can't knock them for going for the catch when it WOULD have ended the game if any decent, competent referee had been calling the game...

It was good defense.

Granted, I was asleep and missed the game and just have seen that play on replay, but yeah, these officials are simply awful...

I mean, look at my Niners' last game--

Inconsistent calls on both sides of the ball, and then came the Fiasco of the Magical Timeouts and Challenges...AGAIN, second time this has happened this season, Pete Carroll pulled off the same thing.

Granted, both his Seahawks and my Niners lost those games where they got these mythical 4th and 5th timeouts, so perhaps they're cursed--LOL--but still, bad, bad calling when the referee doesn't know the basics and everyone at home, in the broadcast booth, and in the stands knows better.

The worst calls happened before the final play of the game. The ghost pass defensive pass inteference call against GB (I'm not sure the player it was called on, but if anything it should have been offensive pass inteference on Rice) and the laughable roughing the passer call on the play where Wilson was picked.

The last call was incorrect. But at least that was confusing. The other two I mentioned were simply horrendous.

shitty game, shitty refs ... I actually thought Golden Tate got both hands on the ball as well when the defender intercepted in the end zone, but comical that the two ofiicials are just staring at each other not knowing what to do

It was a game riddled by penalties against both sides that really didn't happen. The only reason everyone is so sympathetic towards the packers is because they lost. Most pass interference calls were completely missed or called against the wrong team. I'll be honest with you, I watched the whole game, and there were a good 20-25 penalties that should have been called against GB but weren't. I think the only thing that I have a problem with is that the couple penalties that were terrible against the packers gave the seahawks huge gains on 3rd or 4th down. And anyways, most of the bad calls came when Seattle was on offense.

Penalties aside though. The packers should have won that game by 3 or 4 possessions. The simple fact they couldn't get past the seahawks defense is just terrible. They had so many opportunities that they just couldn't make it happen. all in all, seattle played a better game, mostly defensively.
