Why is there even a webdiplomacy moderator e-mail if no one is every going to answer questions about cheating/multi-accounts?

It just seems like the whole website is un-moderated and everyone knows it.

NYG@CAR - Giants, Eli went nuts through the air last week, cam wont keep up
STL@CHI - Hmmm this one is tough, Rams are playing well, but at Chicago, I'll go with the Bears
SF@MIN - Niners - The dome isnt easy to play in but the vikings are pretty bad at the moment
BUF@CLE - Bills
TB@DAL - Tampa is playing great
DET@TEN- Lions
JAC@IND - Colts, Luck goes 2-0 at home
NYJ@MIA- Jets win
KC@NO- Saints
CIN@WAS - The Bungles win it in a close game
PHI@ARI - Philly, both teams are 2-0 in close games, but Vick and the eagles get it together and win big
ATL@SD - Falcons
HOU@DEN - Houston, A defensive battle.
PIT@OAK - Steelers
NE@BAL - Brady doesnt generally lose two in a row but the ravens offense clicks at home again. Ray Lewis may be old but he can still play
GB@SEA - I was looking forward to this game since Matt Flynn went to Seattle, however Russell beat him out for the #1 spot, either way seattle is moving in the right direction. The packers offense continues to pick up steam with a win in the rain on monday night

DAMN, was at a doctor's appointment...

Oh well, I'll just forfeit the NYG/CAR game, I guess:

NYG@CAR: FORFEIT...well, I'd have taken CAR anyway, they're trailing 20-0, so... ;)
STL@CHI: The BEARS put the Rams back in their place, and the NFC North gets heated
SF@MIN: WHO'S GOT IT BETTER THAN US? NOOOOOBODY--49ER EMPIRE! :D
BUF@CLE: Ah, two utterly snake-bit franchises...the BILLS win the Misery Bowl! ;)
TB@DAL: Tempted to take Tampa, only because I hate Dallas so much--nah, COWBOYS
DET@TEN: The chippy LIONS win, win big, and start shooting their mouths off again
JAC@IND: The COLTS move to a surprising 2-1 to somehow tie for 1st place early
NYJ@MIA: the JETS win and go 2-1; if Miami pulls an upset, Tebow starts for Week 4
KC@NO: The SAINTS break the skid...if they go 0-3, we may need to save Eden ;)
CIN@WAS: Should've won last week, would've if not for Morgan--RGIII & REDSKINS
PHI@ARI: The EAGLES do it again
ATL@SD: In somewhat of an upset, I'll take the CHARGERS at home in a shootout
HOU@DEN: One good game, one bad game...he's Peyton, I'll trust his rep--BRONCOS
PIT@OAK: A great matchup...in 1972--the STEELERS smash their former rivals
NE@BAL: Tough pick, a GREAT Sunday Night Matchup...RAVENS late or in OT
GB@SEA: The PACKERS keep it going; again, Seattle, in my view, is a year away
NYG@CAR - too late on this one, but I'm glad my G-Men played well
STL@CHI - RAMS beat the Bears. They're on the rise!
SF@MIN - Niners
BUF@CLE - Bills are very hot/cold this year, so its all on luck really. I'll go with the BROWNS and their consistent defense and insane RB (to match the Bills' insane RB)
TB@DAL - BUCS. Romo's gonna suck again. Plus, the Bucs are playing to redeem themselves after last week.
DET@TEN- LIONS beat off the Titans. Hopefully Kenny Britt gets tons of fantasy points.
JAC@IND - COLTS
NYJ@MIA- DOLPHINS win at home, giving Florida a little pride in football again.
KC@NO- SAINTS
CIN@WAS - REDSKINS win over a Bengal defense that isn't as good as I thought it was
PHI@ARI - Both teams are playing really well. EAGLES will win though, despite 5 turnovers
ATL@SD - FALCONS win over a Chargers team I'm not impressed by
HOU@DEN - TEXANS beat up on poor Manning. Jacob Tamme hopefully will be a fantasy beast.
PIT@OAK - STEELERS beat up on the hapless raiders
NE@BAL - RAVENS win it (but only because they're at home)
GB@SEA - I want to pick seattle as a sleeper, I really do, but the PACKERS will win it.
Also, I'm glad I live in NY because I was able to see the humiliation Carolina just went through. Also, Andre Brown is a BEAST. He had something like 10 YPC.

So what did everyone think of the officiating this week. It seemed much better then in the previous 2 weeks. With the exception being the extra timeouts given to San Fran.
bo_sox48 (5202 DMod(G))
24 Sep 12 UTC
I know nobody else watched (or cared), but the end of the Colts/Jags game was seriously swayed by the officials. They need to get the old ones back.
Celticfox (100 D(B))
24 Sep 12 UTC
I didn't see it what happened?
bo_sox48 (5202 DMod(G))
24 Sep 12 UTC
Just a bunch of calls that gave Jacksonville a first down here or there or took away a big play. Vinatieri made a field goal by six inches inside the upright and missed another by six inches outside the upright so I guess some blame can be put on his even luck. Collie got hurt again and if the Colts don't do it themselves, I'll be tempted to go to his house and tell him to retire because he's going to die on the field if he gets hurt again.
Celticfox (100 D(B))
24 Sep 12 UTC
Ouch it's things like those that show we need the real officials back.
bo_sox48 (5202 DMod(G))
24 Sep 12 UTC
According to NBC about five seconds ago that's not happening for awhile. They are fighting over pocket change; can someone get rid of Roger Goodell in return for bringing the officials back? Same with Bud Selig… I'll give them $5 to get rid of him and they'll say okay.
Celticfox (100 D(B))
24 Sep 12 UTC
lol I doubt, but this week outside of a few things they were better then the previous weeks. At least they're learning. Pretty excited for tomorrows game. I just need Rodgers to do well and I should win this round of fantasy football.
akilies (861 D)
24 Sep 12 UTC
Rodgers is a decent fantasy pick ;) I refuse to play fantasy football anymore as I get way to nervous and intense haha.

If the players want the real refs back they should threaten to boycott the games next week. Also if they dont reach an agreement soon the replacement refs will start to get the hang of this officiating thing and then the regular refs will be out of jobs
Celticfox (100 D(B))
24 Sep 12 UTC
Well this is my first year doing fantasy football. I got really lucky in some things but really unlucky in others. I'll do better next year.

CRAZY morning of football...

3 OT games, and the 49ers...!!!!!

So many bad penalties both ways...and then we got our Magical Timeouts and Challenges, and *STILL* couldn't do shit with them!

Fuuuuck...
Celticfox (100 D(B))
24 Sep 12 UTC
What did happen. I don't think there was anyone who thought the Vikes could seriously beat you guys. And it was a good game wasn't like the Niners fucked up or something.
bo_sox48 (5202 DMod(G))
24 Sep 12 UTC
Obi, don't feel bad, I got exactly 0 of 16 picks right in my other pick 'em league thus far. I've got the Pack tonight. If they don't win, this is the craziest week of football officiati … err, football … ever.
obiwanobiwan (248 D)
24 Sep 12 UTC
Nah, the Niners didn't play well, Celticfox--

Nothing we do well went well.

Best defense in the NFC?
Couldn't stop Peterson or Harvin on 3rd and shorts, kept letting drives continue.
Alex Smith, a 49er-record 249 pass attempts without an INT going back to last year?
Threw an INT to seal the loss for San Fran.
Takeaways on defense?
Not one but two TDs went right through the hands/were dropped by our DBs.
Good running game?
Gore fumbled and Hunter was non-existent.

About the only thing we retained from our store of strengths was Crabtree and Vernon Davis, the former catching a lot of 3rd down passes and the later catching a TD pass.

Just not a good game for the 49ers...

And OF COURSE it's the one game I choose to watch with my Vikings-fan friend! xD

3 49er fans (another friend, his mother, and myself) vs. 1 Viking fan, getting ready for a 42-10 blowout party...

The Viking fan ends up besting us--at the HOME of my 49er fan friend, on our home turf!

LOL
obiwanobiwan (248 D)
24 Sep 12 UTC
*"Not one but two TDs"

I meant INTs
akilies (861 D)
24 Sep 12 UTC
Ah, I have found the problem - ". . . I choose to watch with my Vikings-fan friend! xD" you should never ever watch games with viking fans (sorry celtic), I have found it never turns out well.
Course me being a Packer fan, it may just be my crazy superstition that watching a game with a fan of a division rival somehow has impact on the way the packers play.

But hey this is the NFL, teams that have a down day can lose to anyone really, except that one year when the lions were so horrible a sportswriter came out with a power ranking list that had Texas, Alabama, USC, and LSU ranked ahead of the lions :)
Celticfox (100 D(B))
25 Sep 12 UTC
Sometimes I agree with that Akilies
akilies (861 D)
25 Sep 12 UTC
Well Lets see if you agree with this one.

I have been patient with these refs however tonight was the worst officiated game I have ever seen. The refs made three calls that went against the packers that changed the game and really the refs cost the packers the game.

1. Roughing the passer, the packers defensive player hit Wilson in his aloted (as stated by the nfl rule book) 1.5 steps after the ball was released. This "penalty" wiped out that would have given the packers the ball inside the seahawk 30 yard line to where the packers would most likely come away with three points.

2. later the same drive: Defensive pass intereference - This was the worst call of the game and regardless of who you root for it was a bullshit call. The Seattle WR was pushing the defender down as well as holding the players facemask, the defensive player had good position and had had no illegal contact. This would have put the seahawks in a 2nd and 30 (you dont take the yards in that case).

3. The last play of the game there was offensive pass interference as well as the packer had 2 hands holding the ball to his chest, the seahawk barely had an arm in as the touched the ground but then got a second one in. granted the rule is that the tie goes to the reciever but there wasnt a tie in this case.

Even though I am disgusted with the refs, I do have to say that the packers didnt do enough in this game to win outright therefore it is their fault for the most part.

That was the worst half of football I have ever seen out of the packers in the 22 years Ive been watching and rooting for them.

The offense didnt do shit until the third quarter and really wasnt impressive.

Jennings, the packer player who tried to catch the ball on a hailmary is an idiot. Every person is taught that on a hailmary you either knock the ball down or out of bounds. He had a full two hands on the ball and therefore should have been able to bat the ball out of bounds over his head.

Over all I wasnt really impressed with the seahawks. their offense is stagnant and the packers D played quite well. The seahawks D is good, but the packers made them look like superstars. 8 sacks in the first half is bullshit, the packers offense showed that in the second half.

Next week the packers play the saints - awesome

that is all, I'm sure I misspelled like 80 words but I couldnt care less right now. Goodnight.
akilies (861 D)
25 Sep 12 UTC
Well I was in my bed and then I realized I missed one of the worst calls by the refs.

Greg Jennings running his route, Seattle defended essentially spears him with head to head contact and there are offsetting penalties. really?
Trooth (561 D)
25 Sep 12 UTC
Well, hopefully this is the final straw. Now a popular team was cost a game on the national stage. I am hoping they will hit the negotiation table with more determination.
Celticfox (100 D(B))
25 Sep 12 UTC
I'm still in shock over the horrible calls. Dafaq did I just see? Hopefully talks will just get done but I'm doubtful cause it's all about money.
ghug (5068 D(B))
25 Sep 12 UTC
Wait, guys, isn't this normal?

As a Seattlite that doesn't really care about football, I have watched the entirety of one NFL game ever, and that was Super Bowl XL. I thought this whole thing with the refs making awful, one-sided calls was common. Or maybe it's just karma. Either way, I want the Sonics back.
Celticfox (100 D(B))
25 Sep 12 UTC
It's not the silly one0sided calls. It's the silly wtf both sided this would be ok for high school but not for Pro football calls. Or just the missed calls, or the omg how did you give the other team an extra timeout they didn't have.
Putin33 (111 D)
25 Sep 12 UTC
When the Pack were up 7-6, they had an offensive drive sustained by a bunch of phantom anti-Seattle calls, including one absolutely preposterous pass interference call that would have set up a fourth down had it not been called. But the media love the Packers.
Putin33 (111 D)
25 Sep 12 UTC
rather the Pack were down 7-6.

Stick it in the crazy? Y/N?
KA just referenced one of CM's threads, and someone linked it. I noticed a few people gave advice to CM which read "don't stick it in the crazy". I was kind of wondering if that's a rule which all people on this site support.
