A Question About US/UK TV...

Well, all my friends like Doctor who, so I've taken to watching it...and a friend told me DW was still in B&W in 1966...while Kirk was fighting that hilariously-rubber-suited Gorn in color already? On the other side of the coin...we seem to borrow some TV shows and ideas from Across the Pond...why is the BBC behind tech-wise and US TV behind "idea-wise?" (Are we...or is this just me?)

I can see my map, but when I put in all my orders and click either save or ready it does this:

Unfortunately, we do not roll back phases.

If it is a live game, your best bet will be to cancel probably. If you need help, let me know.

We ran out of storage to save new data to the server. Not exactly sure why. I suspect something is set up wrong on the new server, since this never used to happen. Perhaps there was a script that used to delete old data that isn't running now?

This happened once before about 2 months ago. Kestas just deleted a bunch of old data and everything was fine.

A related minor issue possibly? The index page wasn't displaying anything in the forum box, had to click on forum to get to it...

@abge - They aren't actually paused. Processing has just been stopped. Unless all games get some serious time added to them, those of us who have games that run tomorrow morning and can't put orders in are seriously screwed. Can we make certain everything gets extended by a day?

@Draug

When the server is unpanicked, all phase lengths are supposed to be reset. Live games should be auto-paused as well. I can confirm this with Kestas if you'd like.

If live games phases are reset without the people playing in them aware that they have been unpaused, the games will get a lot of unintentional resigns in them

Sorry about that, the cache filled up way quicker than last time.. We actually have a partition that's relatively empty, which I'll set up as the cache partition this weekend, and we should have enough free space there to keep filling the cache for years

I've reset all games to their original phase lengths, so no one should have problems getting orders in.
