To Mute or To Unmute Dip33, that is the question!
Yes, this is yet another poll surrounding the Dip33 phenomenon. I've had him muted for a while now, but it looks as though I might be missing out. Should I keep him muted or unmute the kid? Let me know in this latest "+1 Webdip Poll"

Weren't the Green Jobs that the Obama administration subsidized with hundreds of billions of dollars supposed to lead job growth? What happened to that? Here is what happened.

Occupy General Motors
The idiots in the Occupy movement who didn't learn enough spending tens of thousands of dollars on worthless degrees from professors who are too ignorant of the real world to create a job for a hooker on a marine base should Occupy General Motors.

Obama's Despicable Inability to Lead
Whenever the nation need's leadership the President is supposed to provide it. Disappointingly the United States did not elect a leader in 2008 with tragic consequences for the country, and the world at large really.

Music
Anybody in here a Michael Buble fan? or do you think he's a major copy? in fact, what kind of music do you like? I'm kind of out of music, and im tired of hearing the same things over and over again.
Draugnar (0 DX)

What are you? A 13 year old girl? Seriously. If your under 30, listen to some slipknot or staind. If you over 40, join me in some west coast/cool jazz or listening to Mozart or Mahler. If your in your 30s, perhaps some Blue Man Group would be to your liking.

Classical music is the real music, mate. I also listen to trance and techno, but good old classical music is the best, so does Kenny G smooth jazz.

And I'm not over 40, just to let you know.
Draugnar (0 DX)

Kenny G? Oh God! Somebody shove hot pokers in my ears now!

If you want smooth jazz, at least make it be Keiko Matsui, Grover Washington Jr., George Winston, Chris Bottom, Diana Orally, or one of that crew. Not Kenny G.

I'm over 50 so I'm not sure where I figure in Draug's categories :-). I am a Pink Floyd fanatic but regularly go back to listen to several of the West Coast, 60's bands - Grateful Dead in particular.

Jazz is now more and more what I choose to listen to - it has such a HUGE variety of styles and it depends on my mood what I like to listen to. You could try some Miles Davis - Kind of Blue is a true classic.
Jan Garbarek has to be one of the most tasteful and soulful saxaphone players. His work with the Hilliard Ensemble although brilliant is too churchy for me to feel truly comfortable.

Chris Botti is legIT! jsut saying. I am NOT a 13 year old girl...I can just sing like him...so i like em cuz it gets the ladies :D

"What are you? A 13 year old girl? Seriously. If your under 30, listen to some slipknot"

No need to need further, anything sensible following this statement is rendered invalid by such bullshit.
Mafialligator (239 D)
21 Nov 11 UTC
Yeah agreed ulytau. I wasn't even going to dignify that part with a response. How someone can recommend slipknot and then Mozart, or even Mahler (ugh) in the same post is absolutely beyond me.
gtfo slipknot

under-30 crowd here and my current playlist has the following 3 artists in order:

Fleetwood Mac, Dream Theater, Ephixa

no pigeonhole for me thx
Mafialligator (239 D)
21 Nov 11 UTC
(For the record my point is that even Mahler >>>>> Slipknot, not the other way round, just in case that wasn't clear.)

kindle fire
So, I'm trying out my friend's fire. I like the size much more than the ipad, but I still find the keyboard is too large to comfortably type on for a long time. If I traveled a lot, I think it would be cool for reading and watching video. So, thoughts on tablets?
