The announcement was that the track was damaged. Other than that there hasn't been any reported damage.

I usually can't bring myself to believe in conspiracy theories, but with two quakes in the US today (Virginia and Colorado) and what seems like almost monthly ones in China I think we can reasonably come to a pretty astounding conclusion. The Chinese probably have an earthquake machine and these one in America were either an attack or a test of our own.

I know it's rather a wacky idea, but it's also compelling.

The epicenter was twelve miles from where I live, so I was a bit shaken up...

I didn't feel anything. Must've been because I was asleep.

Does the East Coast of Canada counts as "East Coast"? I didn't feel the quake though... I know some friends in Philadelphia (because I use to live in the Bethlehem Area and is still in contact with that family who moved) and they said that the shaking was like a roller coaster... Nothing compared to the quake I felt in the North Shore of Chicago back in February before I move out of the states.

My advice is: Get out of the property & insurance markets!

Back in the 60's, the CIA & Kelly Johnson experimented with using the Blackbird as an 'infrastructure bomber'. The Blackbird would fly top speed at a ground target and fling a large bomb of solid metal at it. The resulting physics calculation would create a pretty large localised earthquake. And almost certainly cause the people there to evacuate their bowels.
