so question. of the 15 people listed - do they ALL already have plans to come? I'm a tad afraid that last minute like 5-6 folks might just 'not show up'. any fear of that?

They've all paid $25 and afaik, all of them live in the area or have already booked hotels. So, I would be very surprised if more than 2 people ended up not showing, if even that.

I don't have a hotel booked yet. But as I really don't like staying in downtown hotels, I will commute in from a 'travel' hotel about 30 min away. I'm still open to having a room mate to save even more.

Wiz I have not booked a hotel yet either. was waiting to see if I'd find a taker to share a room and cut costs.

Live game this Sat-is it still on for as many of us as can show up at 10 AM EST? Or is it cancelled and rescheduled to May 28 or 29?

If any one is still looking for a hotel, here is a pretty big list of hotels in the Boston area

Note that the prices quoted are discounted rates for BU alumni, so expect to pay more. However, they do give you a general idea.
Also note that many of these hotels are not that close to Kendall Square. Consult Google maps. Feel free to ask me if you want my input on transportation options between a particular hotel and tournament venue.
Also, this is not a comprehensive list of hotels in the area. For example, the Kendall Hotel and the Meridien in Cambridge do not appear on the list.

Hope this helps. I know a lot of the hotels on the list aren't that close to venue, but maybe some people are looking to stay closer to downtown if they want to extend their visit into a vacation, while others may be willing to commute a bit in order to find a cheaper rate.
