To be clear, you clearly "deserve" your rating. Whether the GR is completely representative of skill is another question.

3) you LOST, and I drew. I Lepantoed your pasty Greek butt. I consider that to be a victory over you.

@Draug. You're spot on that technically, I have not won any games in which Hellalt and I each played. Hellalt's point was "I have beaten him in almost all games we played together". He beat me once in 5 games. I don't think that counts as "almost all".

I have been wiped out of a game that is still continuing, maybe about 2 months ago, I also started playing in a new game a few days ago, must have been a window of about a month or more that I wasnt active, this leads to being taken out of the GR lists? oh well, I will return in the dec list i hope.

I think you need to have at least 1 FINISHED game in the last 3 months.
The game in which you were defeated is not over yet.
The game that you just started also doesn't count.

OMG!! I never imagined getting into the top 10. But I echo the words of Draugnar and Babak-this will be short-lived, as I'm staring at a couple of losses on the horizon.

Ghost-I miss you. I always appreciated your efforts on the GR, but I had never really talked with you. Then right before you left, I had the opportunity to play a game with you and your dazzling chatter significantly livened up the game.

The GR is still here-thank you so much for that. But in the games, we all miss you. Comeback to us soon

I love the fact that so many people look forward to the release of the GR list, it shows it has some impact and i still think this needs to be integrated into the site permanently.

@Babak. Im a little surprised i am, where i am. I have losses coming so things will change and well done to Crazy making the top 10. Well deserved if i do say so myself.

well, the GRs are entertaining, kind of funny too, like last month when I climbed 2146 spots

i've been playing for about 9 months now, and i just found out what GR is. apparently im 130 =]

Being new near the top, I must say that I have enjoyed very much playing with the big boys recently. There is a whole different level of banter and diplomatic sophistication against the likes of Crazyter and BZD. I feel like I am getting my Master's in Diplomacy from these guys:-)

@Rhino. I actually think im getting schooled by the likes of yourself, im not deserving of a such a high place on the GR list, especially as my consistency and skill are really nothing to talk about. The bonus for me is that the position affords me the chance to play more regularly with those that are skilled, consistent and experienced. But thanks :)
