How would a 18 16 survive to Babak in ppsc my g rating

denis, the formula is i think 5% of each of the player's ratings (so mine was around 330, so i deposited 17 into the pot... something like that), then in a PPSC game, you win 16/34th's of the whole pot and I get 18/34th... in a WTA game, I would have gotten 100% of it.

(ps to all, this was a RT game where I picked up a CD, so not my usual game ;)

i actually think i may have lost points in this game, because a few of the players had VERY low ratings... so 18/34th of the total pot may have been less than the # of points I contributed to the pot at the start... hehehe.

BTW, what is Ghost-Ranking?

A rating separate from the point system. You get ranked by who you play with. For games with a high ghost ranking you will receive more points for a win than lower players. Someone can explain it better than I can though.

Where can I see the ghost-rankings? Roughly how high do you have to be in the points system to even be considered?

that is the site where you can read about ghost rating. you have to have finished games to register on the ghost rating, that's the only criteria.

Hello guys, I'm ready to go apart from the processing stuff.

Anyone have a PC with Excel 07 that they don't mind running for 24-48ish hours straight? Possibly more than once if I screw up.

I still think we should have a spot on our profile that shows us our G-Rating. And if we do get it, can we refer to this spot as our G spot?

Hey Ghost, maybe this should be redone in an actual software development language like VC# or (gasp!) VB as it is probably already a VBScript in the Excel. That would speed it up tremendously.

Its mainly Excel with a little VB script.
