oh wow I love this thing. I can hardly explain how awesome it is to have books in this handy little device. Reading has always been a passion of mine, but recently I had stopped reading very much because I either never had a book with me, or didn't want to lug one around. Now, I can practically carry a whole library with me! The best part is that all of my textbooks are available as well. Which means that next semester, instead of having to carry three or more 5lb books around, I can just bring my kindle. Sweet.
Oh, it gets better. The wireless delivery system has worked flawlessly for me so far. It's amazing to think that just a few days ago that if I had wanted a book, it would take me days to actually get it. Not to mention the hassle of actually ordering it and/or going to a bookstore. I'm reading prelude to foundation right now that was delivered to the Kindle 90 seconds after I bought it. Oh, and I didn't mention: free wikipedia access, anytime, anywhere!
Another really nice thing about this is now I can spend 5 or 10 minutes here or there reading, without having to remember to bring the right book, or what page I'm on, or anything of the sort. That's _great_ for me, as I rarely have more than 20 minutes or so that I can just sit and read.
ALSO, when I'm commuting (1hr+ driving time every day), I can make it read aloud to me. Sure, it's not the most inspiring of voices, but that hardly matters. The words are more important.
All in all, I will use this more than any other portable device I own. I highly, highly recommend it. Does anyone else have one?
