centy old son, you posted this first message...... a whole one hour ago! do you think the volunteer moderators sit around all day glued to their pc ready to help you? they will fix it up if its a bug(which looks likely) but come on , give them at least a few hours before you go off on a childish rant complaining about this site

Are you for real centaurian? This isn't the Ritz Hotel. You can't just click your fingers and expect immediate service. There are three moderators on this site. They don't work shifts; so that there not necessarily someone on call 24 hours a day. They don't get paid; they are just players like you or me. You need to be more patient.

when a game moves 12 hrs why offer it as an option if the site does not work propoerly and no one is around to look? at least have an option in game to pause it and alert a moderator"????

There is an option to pause the game. Ask all the players to type /pause into the global chat and the game will be paused.

I think he might be. Notice first post after the OP by Calibrate according to his profile he only joined a few hours ago. It strikes me as very odd to make negative comments so quickly. Also Calibrate never stated what problems he had experienced. I smell a rotten fish.

I would just like to mention that in Centaurian's other thread, Phpdiplomacy crap site, that the user "vp" responded as Centaurian, and I find that rather strange. Is there anyway to alert a mod, or perhaps Spyman would like to alert them (its very late here)?

Centaurian; other players in the same phase managed to retreat. The same code has been running for a year now and no-one has ever reported a bug in the phase changing code that would cause this problem

Looking up your user access records I can see that there was a period of at least 12 hours during which you didn't log on, so I hope you can see why I'm skeptical that this is actually a bug

I should also let others know that vb, centaurian, Calibrate, andreas75, calispo, hotrod69 and Armageddon2 use the same browser and log on at similar times (however aren't in any shared games), so I'm suspicious of joint criticism coming from any combination of those accounts

? I don't know :-/ for the purpose of conserving space it converts your user agent to an md5 hash, and only keeps a 32-bit chunk of that hash. This doesn't usually play much of a deciding factor in detecting a multi-accounter though
