Imagine that, a person gets 5 days in jail for sleeping in abandoned property. I would estimate it cost at least $1,500 to jail Sicarius alone, for a victim-less crime. We certainly have our priorities in the US.

Also, how can you have tenants if you're squatting? Wouldn't that imply some ownership rights for the place?

it's an old hotel called the 'tourist home' in flagstaff.
there were 10 people living there permantely (sp) and we always had about 2-8 travelers staying there from anywhere to 1 day to several weeks.
we had made massive improvements to the house, (I'm a carpenter) and our neighbor is a plumber, so we had the water on, and had a gas stove. electricity was not a priority as we found it mostly unesscessary (sp)
it was fully furnished with furniture and carpet, we had repainted the walls, and cleaned it extensivley (sp)
we ourselves had put up the no tresspassing signs, that required police to have an eviction notice in order to enter the property.
the actual owner is a slumlord who is being sued for selling fradulant properties.
we were beginning to hold community events there, such as shows and copwatch meetings, FNB meetings, as well as a comms center capable of talking to the whole world on a shortwave radio.

anyway I gotta go theres alot more I'll continue in about an hour

what do you mean - You can't play diploamcy in Jail - surely denying a man a game of diplomacy is against one's human rights - they allow me to play when I go on my little retreats.

This time of year is a killer for me at work. I will likely participate in the leagues only for a while. Hopefully, we will meet up in the GFDT.

flashy, we did put a lot of care into it. we fixed alot of it such as ceilings and floors that needed to be replaced, fresh paint, furnished the whole hotel, put in carpet, et cetra et cetra, and we lived there for 2 months, so I grew quite attatched.
