English interview
I'm about having a job interview, but it's in english, and if this sentence is poorly written, sure my spoken english is worse.

But I think the only thing that can help me at this point is to practice. So I was wondering if some american webdiplomacy fellow would help me

May I ask what your native language is? You might want to accept help from non-American native English speakers or other fluent speakers as well.

I don't think they will mind at your job interview if you have a British accent ;-)

Also, it would be better to find a person to talk face-to-face to, but I suppose that's not an option, given that you ask here?

I am not a native in English and have even less time to help you but I think that your English is good enough for a job interview in English. Never forget that among people speaking English, natives English speakers are a minority... And most of time, they are the people who are the less understood and who understands the less... ;-)

My interviewer is gonna be american, so what would help is to practice with an american speaker

And no, my spoken english might not be fotos enough in an interview, I've alterado been rejected in the pas

Indeed, I would say that you shouldn't worry too much about the language. If you have nothing else to prepare for the interview though, you might as well speak some English to get into it again.

I'm not sure if this will help, but consider using a stratagem to help...minimise your "talking" in the interview.
So project an image of being a listener, ( and doer/ worker ) not a talker. Keep your answers brief ? Use answers that encourage the person(s) interviewing you to talk..about the business
For example, listen carefully to each question.. Find some things in the questions, say two points, one you "can agree with" & one you can ask them to explain in more detail... It might be the same single point
For example... The interviewer talks/ asks about "growing their business" you say something like, " I agree, how do you see me using my skills to help that ?"
Practise "mock" interviews with a friend who does have good English ... Or on your own, write out questions you expect to be asked, then write out good short answers & practise speaking them.
Speak SLOWLY don't rush your answers Not ridiculously slowly, but speak slowly and carefully
Admit that your "spoken English" needs to improve ? Most interviewers are always trying to find out "what might be wrong with this person, what are their faults ? "
So you can consider admitting that "English is a second language for me, and I want to improve my spoken English" Even ask the interviewer for their suggestions they might have with that..perhaps saying " I would value any suggestions you might offer that I could use to help me improve my spoken English ". Or say "I am trying to find a part time course in spoken English"
Better they think your only fault is your English rather than gambling, drinking etc.
So my suggestions are...listen, have prepared your answers and spoken them in practise before the interview, speak a bit slower and carefully pronounce each word. Use answers that encourage the interviewer to talk. While they talk use unspoken "body language" ..not too much, but agreeing nods of your head as an example.
If this is a problem for you, then practise job interviews..apply for jobs just to get interview practise
Hope that helps & Good luck

Lure the interviewer into a sense of security by answering his questions and promising your support, but make sure you stab him for the win when it gets later in the interview.

Best advice on here is just to slow down and take your time. If it's a web-design role, your language skills in Java, C++ or Python may be more important than English.
steephie22 (182 D(S))

Maybe feel free to crack a joke that you wish this interview was in C++, if that's your and your interviewer's type of joke :-)

Gunboat as Austria: Suicide pact with Italy
Premise: Whenever playing gunboat as Austria and you are attacked by Italy right out of the gate, one should always give up as many centers to Turkey as possible and get your last dying armies onto the boot to drag Italy down with you. This is the only way the madness will stop.

ISIS defeated
Trump has defeated ISIS within 30 days as President as he promised. Were not sure how he did it. Were not sure how many nukes it took. Were not sure what the secret plan was. But I for one am glad ISIS is gone. Now we can move on to Anubis, Ra and Osiris. I never liked them either.

Germany attacking Austria in 1901 Spring
Is there any rationale for doing this under any circumstance? I've seen this more often in my newer games and it really perplexes me. Can there be any justification or situation where this is worth doing?
Same goes for Austria attacking Germany in 1901 Spring.
