There is a point to be made that being attracted to pre-pubescent children and post-pubescent teenagers are two seperate things. That is a valid point EVEN as milo also said that the law 'pretty much gets it right'...

Are you familiar with what race is?

Cause when it comes to making up arbitrary categories to use for discriminating against people, race is pretty well understood as the go to definition.

There is no biological basis for race. It is a social invention (this is not to say that the idea of race doesn't hold important social meaning now that we have invented it). Islam is just as handy a category to ise to discriminate against people - and equally has nothing to do with biology.

He said age of consent laws are arbitrary. And this is true. (Should it be 21, 18 or 16? Should a 15 year old be prosecuted for sleeping with a 14 year old?) He also said the law pretty much got it right as it stands.

He also distinguished between paedophilia - ie: attraction to pre-pubescent children or babies - often confused with hebephilia, ephebophilia, and pederasty.

Now he may be technically correct in this, but he is ignoring the general usage by referencing the stricter medical usage. So he is trying to be funny/edgy, and technically correct, he is trying to offend as much as he can. So it comes across badly. But then that is his modus operandi.

The initial query was for something "racist or bigoted." Milo's stated views about Islam may or may not be the specific flavor of bigotry you identify with racism, but it's a moot point.

First rule about being a Republican is not to mention any views publicly. That's why they have all those private meetings with no press that when recorded and made public hurt them.

Sure they have gay members, but they try not to have them outspoken because it drives aways their religious ones. It keeps reminding them that Republican leaders aren't hard core religious. That's why so many of them voted for Gore for picking an orthodox Jew in Lieberman as his VP.

Turncoat Lieberman was a big reason Gore lost. He couldn't bring home Florida even as he was dispatched there in the last weeks of 2000.

Ethnic differences have existed for longer than human history, but race is a modern invention, developed by Europeans during the "age of discovery" to explain why it was OK for them to take stuff from other people. Racism isn't natural or innate; it was invented by white people for the sole purpose of giving white people wealth and power.

Nothing conspiratorial about it. Milo's the sort of person who will argue that gays shouldn't be allowed to marry and that 'the gay lifestyle' is morally wrong for the sake of transgressive clickbait, while using his sexuality as an identitarian shield (because what's trolling without a healthy helping of hypocrisy?). This is useful for social conservatives who support those exact policies sincerely and could use an identitarian shield. It's entirely mundane.
