Hoorah, good news, Recently I have been getting flogged in classic Diplomacy games, multiple times with France and Italy and now with Austria.
It's been an appalling series of games for me and a lot of fun for them that been tricking me, ganging up on me, repeatedly backstabbing me..the whole horror show of Calamity and woe for MajorMitchell and much fun for many roguish rascals.
So I joined a few games of that flawed World since it's going to be ditched, Hoorah, and in my eagerness to escape from the floggings in classic Diplomacy I didn't exactly read the fine print, and the game starts and it's a no press game... Which I rarely if ever play. It's similar to that grubby gunboat stuff I believe.
Well since this is a daring thread, a provocative defender of our fweedom of speechifying in the Fowum wiv Decowum, I'm going to blab about a current game, but blab with considerable care..Care not to identify the game, the counties, like a lawyer would carefully blab.

It's such good news, well for me. I get my absolute dreamboat country in this possibly real, possibly mythical game, for the first time ever. Now most players might sneer at this country, it's definitely not one of the advantaged countries, it's difficult to play, etc etc. I however love it for silly emotional reasons. Excellent. Now I am happy to advise that I have had the best first year possible with this country. My nearest rival has a gift sc plus can contest another nuetral sc that is the key sc I have to get to have any chance against this Goliath like for. Well gang, the tide of luck has turned, I captured the contested nuetral sc and even better captured a home sc from my rival. So Goliath gained his gift sc but list a home sc so no new build, he stays on three units.
The noble, plucky little nation I am pwiveliged to wule has five sc's and two builds, and goes into the second year with a five unit V three unit advantage over the injured but still very dangerous Goliath
