Hi everyone!

The mod team are going to sponsor some live games that will be only live for the first two hours (after which they will become 36 hour phase games). This allows players to plan for the time better, since you can predict how long you need to be at your computer for.

Here's how it will work:

* Games will start at a pre-determined, pre-advertised time. This is so that a member of the mod team can be online to oversee the game, and to change the phase at the right time
* Games will run 5 mins per phase for the first two hours
* Games will change at the two hour mark to be 36 hour phases
* Games will be full press, 30 point buy in (unless otherwise agreed by the players)
* A member of the mod team will vet each game to ensure there's no cheating (cheaters in live games sometimes aren't caught until after the game, because moderators aren't always online during the game).

As a caveat to the last point, if you have more than one account please email the mods at [email protected] for a reminder of the site rules.

We will also make sure the clock is as accurate as possible before the game.
