Apache Indian starts fire that burns several hundred thousand acres and hundreds of homes. Charged, convicted, and sentenced to ten years in prison. Cat v. Dog
I think Cats are far more lovable. It has been proven cats increase positivity in their owners. They also purr and reduce blood pressure and stress. Plus you never hear some asshole say: "honey we gotta take the fucking cat for a walk, AGAIN"

Dogs smell, and they jump on people and slobber on you. Cats should win this thing.

The world has changed. The time of a lonely superpower is over. There are 17 powers in the world, and each of them has a vote in the security council in the new United Nations (UN).
The purpose of the game is role-playing game of diplomacy where the diplomacy between countries is in focus, not the actual war. You should choose a role to play (the neutral country opposed all wars, the super-power wanna-be, the federalist, the I'm-just-gonna-fuck-you-up-IS-role, or any other role).

Joinable games
I have been waiting months for this to make sense to me, but I still don't get it. When I click on Games, at the moment it says "Joinable (54)". When I click on the tab, I only see 1, and that game doesn't even have any joinable positions. What am I missing?

Oh there the maps are. Somehow I overlooked it. Thanks Valis for posting that. Now that that's up and even I have access to it despite my stupidity, I would love to set up a chat with willing players and go through each of the games. (Doesn't really matter how, though it would be tough on this forum unless we had separate threads for each game or something. Maybe quicktopic?) Sadly I won't be participating in the next round, but I would love to make the most of the games I played.

I don't jmo to banhammer me, which is what I assume the outcome would be. Regardless of the primitive forum capabilities for this purpose .

Also, for current and future VGB players:
While readying is encouraged, there's is 0 shame in saving rather than readying if you need some time/delay/weekend/whatever/control-over-your-life. Just want to put that out there.

I meant that as a goal for me, but I suppose thinking through the numbers a bit more carefully, that might be unrealistic because of an uneven distribution of powers. On the other hand, presumably people won't be quite as careful playing 50 games at once, which might mean it's within range?

What would you put as the odds of getting one of each?

That's very unlikely CS. With 50 games, 49 would need to be solos for an average player to get 7 by himself. I would guess 10-30 would be solos, so taking 7 of those by yourself means you'd need to outperform the average player by a factor of two. Not a piece of cake, if you'll excuse the pun

hard to give a specific number. i dont know how skilled all players are, but i would be surprised if one player is a favourite to get it.
