It all depends on the type of relations a TA has with their student. It would be ideal to have longer phases to facilitate communication between the student and TA at the beginning, but at some point phase length affects game dynamics and I'd be hesitant to move to 72 hours for that reason.

Yes as a student I feel that 72 hour could really be annoying if only one person chose not to finalize.

72 is way too long. The students are playing the games, not the TAs.

No, its not usually like this. Usually its fresh off the boat newbs (6 months experience or less), with some people who have been around but want to improve.

@ Professors, since there is only going to be one game you can all comment on the games, I find the threads to be more interesting when they are in a debate format anyways. This way with 4 people you will all have less work to do as well for a rather time consuming role.
