@brainbomb, goldie clearly meant people who have never played before when marking newbies. The fact that you're spinning this ludicrous tale where suddenly he's refusing to vote for half the people in the game is frankly stupid.
@Floodgates there is a certain breed of mafia player who try to participate just enough to avoid being marked as a lurker, and yet never actually make contributions to town. Your first few comments had me flagging you as being of this variant which is why I singled you out.
On a related note, it would be stupid to vote goldie right now. The fact is nobody is a perfect, and the more you talk the more you reveal your alignment as either mafia or town, and it would be crazy to lynch the third most talkative player in the game, when there are people who still haven't even talked yet. As the game progresses the talkative mafia will make slips and will be easier to identify as the game moves on, whereas if, say, Chaqa was mafia I would have no idea either way. What we should be doing is pressuring the invisible players who we have reason to suspect (coughcivwarbuffcough) to spit out more information to work with, and not MAD the two most contributive players in the game.
@brainbomb I would ask, given Jamiet's comment of "let's lynch the most veteran player there is", whether you still think his switch is natural. I would also like to hear more from people like Chaqa, Ezio, Zorclex and captainmeme who have clearly started the game, and yet has said nothing useful. I will observe that Floodgates still hasn't said anything contributive in his last comment.
