Autumn 1904
Great turn. Like I said before the turn, I was expecting to see some good stabs. And I see some good ones, with England taking StP and Italy and Turkey making his alliance to win two over Russia. The poor one was from France against Germany, didn´t get a single center and if Germany and England ally we could see some changes on the West.
On the East, Italy and Turkey consolidate their position while Russia seems to be joining Austria on his way to history. Here I can make a comment about why not build another fleet on 1901 when you are Russia and have to cover a really big territory.
Austria is alive by accident, but I don´t believe Italy will let him survive more one year. Also, the I/T alliance seems impressive, and I wonder if both being experienced players help this to form. Anyway, we will probably see some more bounces here and there to keep it working.
I will try also to guess the builds/disbands.
Individual Analisys
England - Humm, England got StP and that could be really important in the end game to form a stalemate line, nice move. Also, with France moving on Germany, both should be offering something to get his help, so the pain could be coming away from the British Islands. An alliance with Germany seems more natural at this point, considering the situation on Scandinavia.
France - Sharpened the knife but the stab wasn´t a good one. With two builds this could have worked, specially if England and Germany have to disband, but now things aren´t looking that good to France. Anyway, Germany won´t be able advance quick with an army on Bur and a fleet on EC, even with England help. The key to decide the Western faith is where Italy will move after Austrian centers are gone?
France is the power with most options to build, all three home SCs are open and there is good reason to build in all of them, I would expect to see a fleet on Brest, even considering that a fleet on Mars with a previous communication with Italy could be better.
Germany - Germany take War, but it´s a little bit overstreched and France tried his luck. Supporting Bel was a good move and I think there is some signs of a E/G alliance forming on this turn, so I expect it to be even stronger on the next year. But like France, Germany faith is now in Italy´s hands I guess. Germany have a little option then building an army on Kiel this turn to try to block France advancing on Ruhr and Bel.
Italy - Italy got another build and Vie is almost sure for next year, so his position is really consolidated. Also, the alliance with Turkey seems solid and both have centers to gain. Now the question is where to move next. The usual in a I/T alliance is Italy moving to the West and Turkey moving north, but Italy´s armies are a lot closer to Germany...
Italy is another power with a lot of build options and his build will tell a lot where he is moving next. I would guess a fleet Rome.
Austria - Little to say about Austria again, but have to congrat him to be playing until the end, and could even stay alive longer then Russia.
Turkey - The Sultan keep growing. Good move to Rum and Sev will follow. Will have to discuss Mos with Germany, but Germany can´t hold it in the long run, and even War will be at reach too. The only think that can hold Turkey is the concern with Italy building fleets.. Turkey can also build on all three centers but I think an army build on Con is the most likely. A fleet build on Smy will not be unlikely, specially if we see a flet build on Italy too.
Russia - Russia is going down, losing three centers in one year for three diferent powers is a sign that diplomacy should have been done better. Also, I always think Russia start with too many fleets, so building another one on 1901 doesn´t help a lot too. In his defense, he tried to support England against Germany on Swe, but it´s probably too late. Russia disband won´t make much difference, but I guess Sev and Fin will be gone.
