My device, had I disassembled it, would have fit in the box. Do you agree with that? Now we arrive at your next argument: "As soon as you walked in the door, the contest had started. " The thing about that is, my teacher did something to contradict that argument: He let us try to make it fit. He wouldn't let us disassemble it, but he let us do pretty much everything else. So, do you agree that we could alter things after the contest began? If you agreed to that, then do you agree that if we could have altered things when the contest began, then unless there was a rule prohibiting disassembling the timer (which their wasn't) then it should be okay to disassemble the timer?
