I had to change my vote on adding the mothers to the workforce. I'm not a fan of it, but I didn't fully understand that our situation was as critical as it was. I'd certainly like it to be a temporary measure.

I am in favor of lowering the working age to 12. If we are going to put mothers to work we should lower the working age as well so that the elders aren't overwhelmed by children.

I want to begin by reassigning everyone currently working pearl farming. 10 to apples, 5 to tomatoes, 4 to game hunting, and 4 to wheat. All the girls from 12-14 assigned to pearl farming (that's about 18) and 7 new mothers assigned to pearl farming as well (this should make pearl production go better, as we'll have more. I want 40 more new mothers assigned to fishing, and 10 to wheat, 5 to tomatoes, and 5 to apples. The rest of the new mothers I want working with the chickens. I want 10 of the boys 12-14 assigned to chickens, and 5 to game hunting (under protection and guidance of the other 4 hunters), while the last 4 boys are assigned pearl harvesting. Does this sound like too much work for them to anyone?

The more workers we pull away from essentials to meet the quota, the harder it will be for the natives to meet their demands. I believe that this is the only incentive required to increase production.
