I think the problems are with the links not the e-mails.

A few of us have difficulty getting links to work. The following is a quote from one of my group mates in a game. He had trouble getting in until...

"If others are struggling to enter tell them I posted the link after the http://phpdiplomacy.net/ start"

Can anyone explain this to me? It does not seem to affect everyone and, from my experience, not every time for me even.

Game 4 is still missing zrallo and scaael04. I know that scaael04 is having problems, and we have paused the game to accommodate them, but we have not heard from zrallo as of yet. Hopefully these problems are rectified soon as I am sure that these players are chomping at the bit and I am also eager to start!! We shall keep the game paused until things are ironed out with said players.

for problems with the links, I hope people are not just copy and pasting only the link into the address field of their browers. I suggest entering one of your games and copy pasting the part of the link that begins with "board" into that part of the site address for one of your games. It worked for me.

So for example, if the URL for one of your games is:
http://phpdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=6836

then you would erase the URL up to the "board" part of the site address, and then copy and paste the link from the email to the end of the

http://phpdiplomacy.net/

I hope that clears the link problems up with the people having trouble entering game 4, and for anyone else who is having problems with links. If not I have no clue what to think and please ignore this post :P!

I know that too! Funny that both of the games that I am in are missing people! I'm in both 4 and 13 lol, just my luck, but I hope those people clear up their difficulties!

whoever it is, dude, haul your ass over here. Depending on which country goes CD because of your absence someone gains a great tactical advantage, making the round unfair.

Castration. It should be written into the rules that players who are unable to log in before the game starts should present themselves for castration.

We've paused games 3 and 9, but I don't think it's fair to make us wait forever. Can we get replacement players?

Perhaps setting a time limit for the players to join would be best, although game 12 will not be starting until Monday as Braveheart (the creator) can't do it. But besides that (and I assume his other game) wonderllama may want to consider setting a time limit for people to join.

I've sent emails to all the CD players. If any of them haven't joined or responded in a day, I'll be seeking out replacements. I'm sorry for the delay folks, I really appreciate your patience.

So, wonderllama, if you find replacements, do we cancel the game we started and try again so the replacement isn't stuck wiht Italy or is that just what a replacement has to sign up for?
