@Prado--I held off on my end vote D2 for quite a while, but a number of people I townread started really clamoring for a hammer, so I put one out. Some mix of peer pressure and not thinking too hard about optimal play.

You also said something about elaborating on a lack of push, but I wasn't quite sure which push you were referring to, so if you want something there, I'm going to have to ask you to reiterate the question.

@Tom--D5 I wasn't all that sure what to feel, but it felt like a lot of people had been calling him scum forever, and I didn't feel strongly otherwise, so I sort of mindlessly bandwagoned. Then later, Ezio asked me why I was on and I realized I didn't actually have a good reason, or even scumread him that hard, so I got off.

I've done a good bit of reading, and I think I've come to a conclusion, but I'll wait to start talking reads until people are around.

In the mean time, other things I've looked at (meaning, weren't directly about Tom or Prado):
Vash, our most recent NK. He left us with no reads, and his reads, on a reread hadn't been updated since RD, who he'd then believed to be the final scum. He made a strange comment last night (his only post last night) about his read on D5 (he says "the day we lynched y2k) being right, but on a reread the only other read I see him having that day was snowy, who was dead when Vash said that. If someone knows what he meant, that would be great.

Also I looked to snowy, my north star, and found nothing useful. He declared everyone was obvtown except RD and never really gave us much else other than a townread of Vash, which is also useless now.

It's a shame Vash died, the rereading I've done would have solidified my townread of him.

I just keep coming back to D1.

I find it much more believable that Balki bussed Prado D1, compared to Balduran bussing ND.

@Prado - Even an hour left when you were a leading wagon, you didn't jump on ND (to potentially push his wagon ahead of yours). Did you townread him?

@TrPrado I didn't feel strongly about not ending, and because demon had promised not to end until Balki had spoken up (and I knew she was town and we needed her vote to end) I figured that if she still decided to end that his defense must not have been worth considering.

@Bald: Are you scum? The biggest hesitation nagging at me is that I have is that I didn't expect to be alive this far. Did you keep me alive because you know I wouldn't lynch you in lylo?

Did you NK Vash after seeing me post during the night that I reread him and said I was pretty sure he was town?

I said at one point D8 I expected him to vote rdrivera along with everyone else. I was talking to someone other than him. I based it on precisely nothing. And after that he voted rdrivera.

His vote for rdrivera was one based on suggestibility more than his actual reads. I don't see much of a way for this kind of behavior to be natural.

Okay, I reread almost all of Tom (stopped around D7 I think), and I was reminded of why I'd given him the pass for so long: he looks at things in-depth, does a lot of questioning and (though reading through just his posts I can't see if he avoided questions) didn't look like he was afraid to share his own thoughts as well. He's effectively been a model town member this game. If he's scum, he's done a good job, probably the best job I've ever seen a scum manage.

Prado, on the other hand, has made quite a few questionable argument, and, while his voting record appears rather solid, his statements themselves sound like someone who's got a plan/agenda. though I haven't finished rereading him).

Just on Day 1, for example, there's an interesting interaction where snowy calls Prado out on saying Snowy and Ghug can be scum together, while Ghug is voting and pushing snowy fairly hard. Prado, having just started a push his vote on Ghug, adamantly tells snowy that he's wrong, and scum can absolutely start pushes on each other early on D1.

Now, that's kind of putting the cart before the horse, and frankly more a funny story for after the game, should Prado actually be scum.

In the end, my feeling is that Tom's posting indicates to me he reasons his way through, then comes to a conclusion, while Prado has conclusions and sort of back-fills the reasoning as necessary.

@Tom Wasn't I on the top of your townreads anyway? If I were scum I'd have NK'd you, because Vash is more random, and that's a chance I'd take over you, who generally thinks things through.

@Prado I didn't fight it? Unless you mean why didn't I end? There wasn't any hype for the night phase like there was D2, so I probably just defaulted to being passive and letting it go.

@Tom I voted RD because I felt more suspicious of his plan than Vash's, and at the time I was confident about you and Prado.

Its from your reads. They both say townish, but it implies you think Vash has a higher chance of being scum:

As far as your first point, I have had you in probably my top two townreads all game - mostly based on the fact that you wouldn't bus D1. Wouldn't I be the person for you to take to lylo since I vehemently said over and over that you wouldn't bus D1?

I scum read Vash a bit on D5, but by N6 I considered Vash "Probably town" and about even with RD.
