@bo- I was going with what was originally requested. However I am open to waiting for all members to vote. and continue to remind my fellow councilors that through debate votes can still be swung.

Heh, we can debate whether we should wait for everyone or just be done with it with a majority too..

I say take the vote as passed but leave it open for others to vote.

I stepped out on deck for lunch fresh air, came back, and see I missed a good bit of conversation/voting. Just submitted my vote for HC vote/tie break/term. Don't know if it changes anything.

Not at all Lanium, we areb still in voting process. so any additions just get us closer toa d ecision. every vote counts.... unlike in America.

@CB ... if the HC is *not* granted the ability to vote, could you change my vote in the second category to yes? If the HC is granted the ability to vote, leave it as is. Thanks.

agbe put this out there a while ago. If/when our HC is chosen, he should PM abge his gmail so that he has access to update this. HC should use this as his recordkeeping tool. I mostly didn't want this getting lost in the thread with us having no way of finding it.

Also, since some people will not have followed the discussion when voting, perhaps we should be careful not to use made up abbreviations without mentioning what they mean on the form?

I imagine someone coming online now doesn't now what HC means (=Head Councilor, if someone is coming online now :P).

I guess that can be solved with the recordkeeping tool as well, listing used abbreviations.

I propose that one of the duties of the HC is to make sure that every page of the thread contains info on the current vote / decision at hand. This is going to bloat *fast*.

Not that I am current HC (head councilor) but since I have taken charge of these first elections I will act in that capacity until elections. So above is all the current voting first 2 links are the most up to date polls, and the last 2 are their results.

TMOW- You can PM your votes to me if you wish not to wait. However we won't adjudicate the vote until everyone has voted.

We require 2 more votes in the HC rules ballot. Once that is done I will make a ballot for exact term descriptions based on the ideas presented in that first poll.

Okay, the HC will be able to break ties (9 people voted yes). Only question is if he has his own vote as well.
